Came here yesterday(3÷18÷12) with my mom to pick up some hulled corn for the deer in our backyard and two big bags of bird seed for the birds in our back yard. The store is by some restaurants including a few sushi ones, and a few empty buildings one that used to be a daycare center. The lady that helped us remembered my mom from previous trips and was very nice and her son loaded the four bags a mixture of corn and seed into the car. Two 50lb bags of hulled corn and two 50lb bags of bird seed cost — around $ 50.

Ed’s Feed and Seed in Symmes Township looks a bit out of place in an area filled with a ton of new shops and restaurants. Ed’s is a little wooden almost shack-like building off of Montgomery Road, and although the interior and exterior aren’t impressive, it is a good store for all your pet and garden supply needs. On the outside they have a ton of plants including water plants with four key facts about each one: plant variety, bloom date, sun/shade requirement, and depth. Also outside is a sign displaying the featured items, while there are also a bunch of frontyard décor items including hanging plants, a chair, mini benches, and engraved stones for the front lawn. Inside there is a real mix of items from bird seed and pet food to chew toys and Crocs. There is also grass seed, Greenview fertilizers, bird seed and bird feeders, and many Dramm products, among other items. Plus, the prices seem very reasonable and the staff is friendly. Ed’s Feed and Seed isn’t much to look at, but the long-running business is a perfect place to shop if you have a pet or are looking to take good care of your yard.
