Ok, I like this store, but… I was in there one day and they had these mermaid bottle openers selling for something like $ 39.99. A few weeks later I was visiting Pittsburgh’s downtown warehouse district and saw the same thing for around $ 7.99.

Elm & Iron is a really awesome newish shop in OTR are Vine Street. It has lots of chic and stylish home décor spread throughout the whole place. Chairs, Art Pieces, Vintage Pieces, Kitchen Tea Towels, Planters and more. I think the only negative to this place is that it’s pretty pricey. There are some pieces that I think are good prices esp on their bigger vintage pieces. Some of their newer stuff are pretty heavily priced, though. There were a handful of things I got excited about and then picked it up to see the price said«Yikes.» and sat it down and backed away from it. Overall though this is a great shop! Even if you’re not trying to buy anything if you’re trying to kill some time while waiting for your table at The Eagle or your American Legacy tour to start I would for sure go in here and look around at all the neat items.

This is such a neat! Some things are a bit pricey while others are pretty reasonable for what appears to be quality goods. I would love to have one of the laser cut states in me home but that is something that is a bit out of my price range. There is often a rotating collection of goods in the store from time to time and it always usually grabs my attention. I always also bring my out of town friends to the store and they usually buy something which makes me happy to see them take a piece of Cincinnati with them(I know this is a Columbus based store from what I have heard). I hope to have some of their goods in my home sometime soon as I love so much of it. thanks for keeping Vine St. a target hot spot for my visitors.

I was a woman with a mission, headed toward Holtman’s Donut Shop when I stopped dead in my tracks this store is so cute. What caught my eye first … the penguins in the window. I adore penguins ever since we did the backstage meet and greet at the Newport Aquarium. Grabbed Bob’s arm and in we went. Loved everything here cause it was innovative and spanning all price ranges. But it was the penguin that got me in the door, and I wasn’t leaving without one. They explained they had started with 3 sizes, and were down to just the large. That saved me some money cause I would have had to have all of them. But I was happy to «just» get the biggest one. It was heavy, and they don’t deliver so I bought it and returned the next day to pick it up. It was easy peasy. Already planning a return trip, and will set aside adequate time to really browse this store. Who knows what I will find next … maybe even the other size penguins. If so, I will be doing the happy dance. Great addition to OTR.

My favorite store in OTR. I absolutely LOVE shopping at Elm & Iron for home décor items… They always have the most unique, one-of-a-kind statement pieces for your home that people will look at and ask«Where did you get that??» Yes, they are a little pricey, but I feel their prices are reasonable because almost everything is so special. My favorite things are their lighting and home décor items, but they also have great small gift ideas. Definitely worth checking out!

This is a super cool home décor store in OTR. Prices are good(compared to what I might see where I live in Austin) and selection is really nice and different for the area. This is exactly the type of business Cincy needs in this area. Shop here!

Absolutely favorite new interior décor store. We have now bought two conversation pieces for our home. The customer service is great. It is a blend of rustic and modern appliances that will make any home feel retro and upbeat.

What an amazing store. There is so much to take in. They carry so many natural and recycled decorative items from pillows to bottle openers to one of a kind wall art. We bought a couple of pieces for which I have been searching for a long time. I saw many things I will go back for, especially to purchase as gifts. I love that it is not a big chain store and they only have a few locations. The prices we affordable. The displays were engaging and I just love the feel of the store. The sale associate was helpful but not pushy. I can’t wait to go back.

Three letters: W O W ! Beautiful store and really fantastic furniture and décor. Vintage(and sometimes just old) objects brought back to modern life, fantastic ideas for unconventional use of many things. Really amazing and inspirational. They also offer a selection of very affordable cool gifts and small accessories to refresh the interior. I am a huge fan! What a great addition to Vine Street!

What a beautiful store. So many cool items, the possibilities are almost endless with ideas to decorate your home. I wanted to buy so much more than what I came away with, but alas not all things here are budget friendly. Still a very cool shop and welcome addition to OTR.

Guys, I think I love this place. I was walking back from Holtman’s when I saw a pillow I knew I needed to own. Inside, there was a treasure trove of cute little trinkets starting at $ 2. Wine stoppers, mini chalkboards, random decorative items. They have a ton of pillows, including the coordinate collection of local neighborhoods. If you need a wedding gift, you’ll have plenty to choose from with themed pillows to dish towels. Super cool laser etched woodwork as well.
