We thought we’d try Firehouse Subs. I feel like I just ate an expensive bread sandwich. Remember the 80’s commercial stating«where’s the beef?!» And my wife’s sandwich was cold. I highly doubt firemen eat this way. I’ll stick to the great sandwiches at Penn Station for now on because they have filling, hot subs and also have frys. Firehouse is a Fail.

Walked in and the whole team was sitting on the counter area and in little huddles chit chatting. Not one person acknowledged out presence. We had never been there before and I was lost with the menu. I asked the cashier and she seemed like she has never tried a sand which so she had no suggestions. We ordered a sandwich and waited for our food. The person called out our name so low, we almost didn’t hear it. Poor customer service, this young crew could really use a dose of training when is comes to customer facing jobs. Called the manager and let him know. He said he was sorry and offered sandwiches on the house to make up for the poor service, and we never got the coupons in the mail, after he said he was extremely sorry for the experience! So sad… We won’t be here again.

Fast, friendly, and delicious! Working my way through their menu of great subs, and haven’t found one yet that I don’t like!

Easily one of my favorite lunch spots, my co-worker and I eat here at least once a week. If you don’t care about calories… the sweet and spicy meatball or the brisket and cheddar are AMAZING sandwiches… especially for the price you pay. The meatballs are generously sized, the red pepper flake on top gives it a special kick that it needs, and the bread is perfectly toasted to hold up to the sauce without getting soggy. If you DO care about calories, then the regular subs are probably not for you, but they have a pretty good selection of under 500 calorie sandwiches. But what you’re REALLY going to want is one of their salads. Get the one with grilled chicken on top and get it with their honey mustard. Seriously. When I eat this for lunch, I consider it the best 300 calorie meal I have all week. Best salad and it’s like $ 6 or $ 7 dollars. I would recommend ordering online for this location. I used to just come in and order and wait, but sometimes the wait can be quite long, like 5−10−15 minutes, it’s not horrible, but I’m horribly impatient when lunch time rolls around. So order online, gather your things, drive leisurely over, then you hot, delicious sandwich or your crisp, healthy salad will be right there at the register for you!

When I travel to a new city, I always eat at places I’ve never been before. This was my first time at Firehouse and I am very pleased. I got the Engineer sub and it was delicious. I did everything I could to slow down to eat it. Very good and affordably priced!

Not a very good experience. I’m not a fan of warm subs. Going in, I didn’t realize that was all they serve. That being said, I don’t think having cold offerings would have made it any better. I got the brisket and cheddar. Not only did they skimp on the meat, but the meat I did have tasted way too smoky. I’m not sure if it was the meat of the BBQ sauce that was too smoky. There was so much mayonnaise that not only did it make the bun soggy, but there was still enough to scrape off with a knife. A medium or regular sub seems smaller than other sandwich shops. They have a wide assortment of hot sauces to add to any sub. I went over to see if there was anything I could use to make my sub better. It seemed as if they would all clash with the BBQ sauce. My kids didn’t particularly like their turkey and cheese subs either.

The brisket sandwich is one of the best that I’ve had in awhile. And the staff at this location is very friendly. Way to go Princeton Pk Firehouse Subs! You have extinguished my hunger with good food and great service!

You have to try the sandwiches at Firehouse Subs. I am not into sandwiches BUT, these are absolutely wonderful and tasty. Try any sandwich but especially the brisket with barbeque sauce; I have ordered this sandwich without the cheddar cheese… yum yum. As I’ve stated in another review, I usually do not make it a habit of eating beef, but seriously this is a tasty sandwich.

Horrendously slow. Wife, daughter, and I waited 15+ minutes for a salad and sub. That doesn’t sound long, but it sure felt like it. The staff was aware of the long wait, but were rather unempathetic and passive. The food was on par with the cost. The veggies and bread tasted fresh. The shop itself was a bit disorganized and dirty, but not unbearable.

Pretty well beat out most of the other sandwich shops due to quality, service, price and quantity of meat. My only complaint is that the smoke flavor in the ham is too fake tasting. As a real firefighter, I think it tastes like I just came out of a structure fire. It is NOT a pleasant taste like a mellow hickory or applewood smoke would be. It is actually bitter. I have tried it several times now and will not do any of the smoked meat selections.

WOW! I didn’t think subs got better than Jersey Mikes… and by NOMEANS am I saying stray away from Jersey Mikes. cause they are a great sub shop. but I must say Firehouse Subs are definitely my new favourite with their NY Steamer! Talk about a terrific sub… this one is awesome! I love the style of chain Firehouse has going on! Mad Respect! And a great. unique concept!
