Fox 19 WXIX-TV

I’m going to start with my review of Fox 19 as I do with all reviews of news providers, and that’s how they do with their website — since that’s where I get my news from.
Fox’s website is actually one of the better news stations locally. They have a strong center image and the main story you want to see. It’s not too cluttered, there is a nice bar on top of the different sections you could want to learn more about and a «Your Community» section below for you to learn more about where you live. Really nice.
Their website is a good place for news. Sometimes it’s too much wire AP stuff but overall, I check it out when I want to learn more.
They have a six hour morning show that is well done. It’s never going to be hard hitting news but it is an honest, fun, quirky look at what’s going on in Cincinnati. I don’t have it on often, but when I need to get some work done in the morning and want something easy to watch in the background, it’s my go-​to.
They’ve been trying very hard to get away from the «Fox Stereotype» and actually be fair and balanced with their news stories. I think they took a lot of heat (whether true or not) for being one-​sided and are working to show both sides of every story.
Overall, Fox19 does a pretty solid job of reporting in Cincy.
