Hobby Lobby Creative Cntrs

It is such a large store with lots of merchandise to make it very probable that they would have whatever you need. However, maybe I have gone at just the wrong times, but the lines are usually fairly long which can be frustrating.

How can a Hobby Lobby get only 3 stars? Well I’ll tell ya. It’s not the store’s fault. I love the store and it’d easily be a 5 star rating if customer service wasn’t a factor. But, Hobby Lobby. I’m a stickler for customer service and you are a retail store so I’d assume that it’d be a given.
Oh how wrong I am for the 2^nd time now. I dress up for crazy things for Halloween and I hand make the majority of my stuff. When I went in for the Halloween season and asked them about liquid latex they looked at me like I had 3 heads, and I wasn’t even in costume. I went down the street to the Lowe’s because I was getting desperate and they did an on line search for me and came up with Hobby Lobby.
They were sweet enough to write down the product number for a product that wasn’t even at their store. THAT is customer service. Maybe Hobby Lobby should send their employees to a Lowe’s training class…
Well I headed back to Hobby Lobby armed with my magical number. Again I was met with resistance. I asked for a manager at this point and FINALLY, someone who could help me. They walked me over and we found it in the sculpting products. I was so thankful and I told her so like ten times.
This past time I went to have a picture matted & I took both the picture and the frame, and when I told the lady at the framing dept. what I wanted to do, she laughed at me! She said, «You can’t fit a mat in there!» I thought I could at least do the thin cardboard piece and she again laughed and said that it wouldn’t work. I thanked her for nothing and informed her that I’d just do it myself… and that’s exactly what I did.
It took some time & probably would have looked more professional had they done it, but that really made me angry & I felt like taking it back in there to prove a point, but I was good and did not.
So Hobby Lobby is a great place, as long as you don’t need any help with anything. If you do, go to Lowe’s and ask them and you’ll get a better solution.

Oh Hobby Lobby, how I wish you’re prices were just a little cheaper like they used to be… but it’s probably for the best so i don’t spend everything here.
For the most part, this store is pretty well laid out. All the flower and flowery type things in one corner, picture frames in another. But the middle of the store is more hodge podge/​combination/​mixture of just about everything. No matter what you’re decorating you can seriously find it here. Whether you want to do it yourself, or just have it looked like you did, this is a great shop.
It’s located all the way at the back of the little strip its in just fyi. Its easier to get to it from Princeton Pike, than Kemper.
