Love the deli style subs but this location needs some work. Today they were out of 3 essential sub ingredients and cookies. The sandwich maker explained to us we should understand they had a big church group and they’re just out of things. Not sure that’s the best recommendation for the frustrated customer in front of me who had to select 3 new subs for the family dinner. Sounds like a good story, except this isn’t the first time. I’ve been when they were out of some bread sizes. That day, the staff did a good job of offering alternatives and apologizing. But not today. Things happen & sometimes business is busier than expected, but figure out how to deal with that in a way that doesn’t disappoint customers with an immediate need or make loyal customers like me reconsider being a regular. Taking my 600+ points to another location to keep stacking them up

Arrived at 8:50PM to buy 20 subs for a party. The sign on the front window said they were open. The sign on the door said they were open till 9PM. When I entered the restaurant they told me they were closed. I reminded them they were supposed to stay open until 9. Reply«Un-hunh». I also pointed out that the sign on the window said they were open. I told them they should probably turn the sign off in the front window so that no other folks would pull off the road to try to get a sandwich. They told me they’d «get around to it». I won’t be a customer in the future.

This location is dirty & poorly run. We were the customers eating there & yet EVERY table was dirty. Um, clean the tables perhaps? Ordered pop and there was no carbonation in machine. Asked about it and were told, «It’s broken.» Okay… so how about putting up a sign & not selling flat pop to customers? Sub was also not good. They used the very tail end of the meat and it was sliced super thick(not usual for jersey mikes). I guess the worker was too preoccupied sitting down and kicking it with her visiting friends/family to do her actual job. I usually like Jersey Mikes and have had nothing but positive experiences at the Hyde Park location, but will never go to the Kenwood location again. I suggest going to another location unless you want an overall poor experience.

Hypocrites. This store has a sign on the wall saying they support local charities, including the Y. But they refused to accept our gift certificate from the Y because«the owner doesn’t believe in accepting these.»

Freshly made and large selection of toppings. Meats are cut to order like true deli style. Buy 2 subs and get one free every time we have come. I reccommend the Veggie sandwhich with bacon.

Jersey Mike’s is a pretty non-descript sub shop. I visited it while waiting for my tires to get replaced, and needed food. The atmosphere was alright. The staff seemed friendly. Like I said, nothing of note. The sandwiches don’t allow for a lot of your own taste unless you ask for it. Then I got the sandwich. HOLYCRAP. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Giant, thinking, «well, a foot-long should do me just fine.» I needed a yard stick to measure this bad-boy. I also needed to carry it with two hands. It was quite delicious as well. The signs say they do catering, and that would be a good place to get catering from, I think. All in all, was pleased with the results. I don’t feel a need to go out of my way to take someone there, but it is a good place to stop if you’re in the area.

Love Jersey Mike’s! The meat for the sandwiches is sliced right in front of you, so you know that it is fresh! They also offer a mini sub, a little bit smaller than their regular, it is the perfect size for me!
