This is one of the few coffee shops in town that has a drive-through window. And for that they get an additional star rating. The interior is nicely designed and decorated. And it has a comfortable feel despite being in a strip mall location. The problem that I have is that their coffee is often watery and lacks flavor. I love highlander grog flavor coffee, and this is one of the weakest in town. I have not tried their other coffees, or cappuccino, espresso etc. So hopefully their Brewer will go just slightly Boulder with their highlander grog coffee.

Made a Unilocal account to post on this place… I’ve only been here once and there’s a reason for it. I haven’t seen others commenting on what I believe to be a massive elephant in the room at Kidd Coffee and Wine. One of the first weeks it opened, I strolled in to order food and coffee. I’m not going to gripe about the food, which was alright. The coffee was average. What I couldn’t shake was the smell. The entire place reeked of wet dog. I’m not sure if the place used to be a pet store, so I won’t claim that. But the pungent cloud my nose detected seemed to point to a half-hearted renovation of an interior that ran amok with furry clientele in a past life. As I waited there for my food and drink to be prepared, I felt as though the heavy dank aroma was bleeding through from underneath the cosmetic dermis of this fun and trendy new shop. I couldn’t imagine getting any work done here or having a relaxing glass of wine. Or bottle of wine, whatever. Made me glad my order was to-go.

Whilst pulling into the parking lot, I was happy to see a sign indicating that this place has a drive-thru although it was hard to access after pulling into the front of the business. Lesson learned– the drive thru is only accessible by driving past the plaza and entering the back alley. The barista at the window was very nice but my latte tastes salty. I’ve had two sips and probably won’t be drinking any more of it. Disappointing!

Today I revisited Kidd Coffee & Wine on the urging of one of the owners. It was roughly 4 months back when I originally visited this establishment receiving unsatisfactory reception. I am glad to announce that they have a fresh new crew on board — both management & staff– so everything is PERFECT! Way to go. The seating area was bustling with small groups doing their daily business. Everything was in order. The young man working the counter was ahusling taking care of the orders. Only issue were– café au lait was way too hot at first. Don’t steam milk too long. Provide cinnamon & nutmeg to top off beverages. Will return for my daily coffee when nearby

Cute quaint coffee shop. Great atmosphere. Warm fire. Service was quick and they bring your food and coffee to your table. It’s very relaxed and quiet. A great place to meet a friend or study. Prices are good and they even have a menu with hummus and other small fare. The desserts looked great too! They also have a drive thru!

Great service, good selection, and good wifi connection. Consider myself a regular there, especially because of their convenient hours.

I stopped in on a whim while waiting for takeout at Aladdin next door. They have a really extensive menu of coffee drinks(I didn’t look too much at the food or wine selection, but I definitely will in the future). I wasn’t feeling fancy so got a 20 ounce café au lait for $ 2.40, which seems pretty cheap! The barista was incredibly friendly and joked with me, and the other gentleman who seemed to be setting up for a group greeted me warmly too. Looks like complaints about staff in other reviews has been noted and corrected. I’m looking forward to going back and checking out more of the menu.

I wanted to like it! Neat atmosphere. Worst coffee and pastry I’ve ever had. McDonalds is better. Will never go back.

I’ve been coming here for a few months, now and have always enjoyed my experience. The staff is extremely friendly, and always personable. The atmosphere is very cozy, as well. The drinks are always made to order, and taste great. Per staff, they are under new management; however, I have always been pleased with my time here. Local coffee shops are the only way to go.

The coffee was ok but service was not. We swung by this show to pick up some coffees to go. They have a variety of specialty drinks but I went with a plain macchiato. It was sweet even though I didn’t request any additions. Not sure why this would be. We stopped at the Mediterranean place next door first and put in a Togo order and then came over and ordered 2 standard drinks. We waited. And waited. There were two people working and they were doing things but not sure what as nothing was being served. Our food was ready from the place next and they still hadn’t even started ours. There wasn’t anyone in front of us but 3 people came in after. We were all standing around waiting. At this point the last two to come on tried to cancel their order because it was taking so long. The drinks finally stated coming out but in a different order than we came in. Normally that wouldn’t bother me but as we had been waiting quite a while before the other had even ordered it was pretty annoying. We finally got our drinks and left. I would skip this place.

Stopped in to finish up some work Tuesday evening. I was the only one in the place but was greeted warmly and walked thru the menu options. There are quite a lot of offerings so it can feel a little overwhelming and looking at a few different signs but they are very helpful. They also have food offerings as well which not a lot of coffee places offer in the area… Lets not forget craft beer and wine! The space is beautiful, full wall flanked with windows, different seating arrangements including bars and a patio outside that looks nice and shaded. Great rustic/reclaimed interior, fun music playing and a plenty of magazines to browse. Drive thru is a plus. There a few comments below on staff but when I visited they were having a really great team meeting and it looks like they are trying really hard to build into their staff as well as put customer service as a priority along with other logistics/values, have clear direction. From throwing out suggestions to trying all of the food, It was refreshing to hear and it takes a little while to get in the groove of things. I urge you to try again! Hours are open later than some of the other places(of course early too), I did not see a sign posted. Glad to have a new local coffee shop!

Pro: drive through(important for me as a mom to a young one) Cons: coffee is not great tasting, served in styrofoam vs paper cup(what is this, the 90s?)

The concept and the atmosphere is great here, however the coffee is pretty terrible(literally took three sips of a latte and threw it out). I would take a Starbucks latte over the one I got here any day, and that’s coming from someone who is pretty serious about their coffee(head down to Deeper Roots instead). There is no proper coffee execution here, but some of their other menu items might be better, although I am unsure about the quality of their food, and if it’s actually freshly baked pastries or not. I might come back to try out the wine, or perhaps try out a lunch menu item. I really really wanted to like this place, since the décor and location is wonderful. I will go elsewhere for my coffee to say the least.

I went there this morning before work to get some coffee. They have a drive-thru and I was on my way to work so I went to there. I pulled up and I could see workers inside, however none of them served me or even seemed to pay attention to the drive-thru at all. But, I didn’t want one visit to leave a bad taste in my mouth because it could have been one bad worker. So I went after work to give it another go. To my surprise, they did it again! I pulled up and waited for at least 6 minutes, probably longer, for a worker to notice that someone pulled up to the window and nobody did! They either need more attentive workers or something to notify them when customers pull up, but at this point there’s no way I’m recommending this to anyone or going back.
