Really good bar! I love the music, drinks, and atmosphere. Could use a bit more parking and some sort of food.

The Pine is a nice local hangout where you can enjoy live music and having to yell at one another to be heard. If you can get pass the idea that you may have to hunt for parking and its loud, you will like it. It use to have a bad reputation for the type of people in there, but its calmed down significantly. I like it when there is nowhere else to go to end the night and if there is a band that I like and want to hear. Its definitely a local spot where you will run into Colerain and White Oaks finest.

I dont go out a lot but I love live rock and roll so much. I am 58 and there just aren’t many places to get good rock and roll anymore. I have ALWAYS thought bands should start earlier though; even in my 20’s. You want the working crowd; those who have money to spend? Start earlier so they can see the band and still get home in time to get a good nights sleep. Others can stay later but cater to the working people.

I’m sad to give this place a one star because I did have fun when I was here, thanks to the group of people I was with however, I will most likely will not be returning due to the incredibly rude service I and many people received from the bartender Thursday night. Look I bartender for years and there is absolutely no excuses for his poor behavior, NOEXCUSES!!! If you hate your job fine, but don’t taking it out on your guest, especially when one is tipped you 2 dollars for every drink. The bands where great and while sitting at the bar I noticed they where being treated poorly aswell. The bartender was slamming drinks on the table, which created mine to foam up, thanks by the way, was unpleasant, and complained about the music being loud. Um your bar ISRIGHTINFROUNTOFTHESTAGEWHATDOYOUEXPECT!!! Never going back unless I’m told there is someone more pleasant bartending.

If you are a night person, this is the place to be! I can only write a review on the outside section of the bar because that is usually where I hang out and only inside for the restroom. All I know about the inside that it is LOUD! There is a Live band there every night. Cleanliness is like any bar so don’t go barefoot there which is sometimes hard to do.(explained later) The outside area is really nice. They have a large space with high table tops and dancing. The bar is pretty darn cool. It is an island where people can sit all around it. Great carpentry on it too. Their sound system is pretty awesome and clear. Nice that it cancels out the sound from inside. Then right next to the bar is the sand volleyball court.(this is where barefeet comes to play). On weekdays, there are Volleyball tournaments in the evenings. But before or after the tournament(after 10p) the court is open to everyone. The bartender has the volleyball and just need an ID to get the ball and play. THISISTHEBESTPART of this bar. People get together and play some good volleyball and enjoy drinking at the same time. The lighting is perfect and sand is comfortable. Almost like good play sand when I was little.(I have been in some rough sand before) I come here a lot when I want to do something besides sitting but still want to drink.

Absolutely my favorite bar on the west side. There is live music on stage every night from open mic nights to top-notch bar bands playing everything from classic rock covers to blues to modern experiments. Lots of open space for dancing, too. The crowd is down-to-earth and friendly to newcomers and the service at the bar is quick. Lots of parking for your Hog if you have one and an outdoor deck with tiki bar for the warmer nights. Pool tables and darts also available!
