I recently purchased my daughters prom dress here. They are very friendly, polite and helpful. Their knowledge of designers and dresses is top notch and they have a huge selection of styles. Our sales associate was on point in her suggestions and helped my daughter considerably in making her final choice. She is really excited for her prom and part of that is because she has a beautiful unique dress for the big night! Thank you Kotsovos.

Found my dress here! Wonderful staff and I had a great consultant. She helped me find my style and was very respective of my somewhat low price range. I didn’t feel rushed or anything as I did at other stores. They store your dress for only 25 dollars and even said I could come back anytime to try it on again and bring friends if I give them a call ahead of time. Going back here to find my bridesmaids dresses because I just loved it so much.

Stop the whining people. If you want cheap, go to Macy’s or another establishment. If you want the best, Kotsovos is the place to go.

I just wanted to send a big THANKYOU to the team at Kotsovos for helping me find the perfect wedding dress for my NYE wedding. Thank you especially to Victoria for helping me during the shopping process and to Jo during the fitting process. Both were so incredible! Especially need to thank Jo for her relentless attention to detail during my fittings. The dress fit perfectly on the wedding day and I couldn’t have been happier.

Kotsovos has a big selection of beautiful prom dresses. Katie was so helpful in finding the perfect dress for me. I also purchased earrings… they had great accessories that were priced very reasonably. Their prices are competitive to other stores, and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Loved these guys for my bridal gown! At first I wasn’t so sure about the store, it doesn’t have the best outside(or frankly, inside) appearance. Sandra had me in and out of dresses so fast I didn’t know what hit me, which was great! I didn’t know what I was looking for until I tried on one that she had picked out. I also got my alterations done here and they looked flawless. My bustle was super complex, but the seamstress showed it to us multiple times and allowed us to videotape her for reference later. No complaints here!

Terrible customer service. I dealt with two very unfriendly, difficult women when trying to make an appointment to see a dress. When looking for bridal gowns in the Cincinnati area, there are definitely better options out there who are more attentive to customers.

Not a fan. I went there for prom. the dresses were outrageously expensive, even their headbands were over 100 dollars! one of the ladies there were so rude to me and would not help at all. I liked to woman with the European accent, she was so sweet and a lot of help. I got magazines and coupons from them, I went in with high expectations and I was let down.

Staff is not helpful and rude. My mother went to look for a dress for my weddong and after she said how she would like her dress the salesperson decided there was nothing there like that without even looking. My mother ended up looking around and found something she liked. She ended up buying because she really like the dress. When she went back to pick it up after the alterations she said she wanted to try it on and they simply said the seamstress was not there and did not even let her try it on.

Kotsovos was one of the three places I went to look for wedding dresses. I wasn’t sure what I was walking into in this downtown Montgomery area with ‘furs’ in the title. Sounded upscale, but what I found was surprisingly well priced wedding dresses and a very helpful assistant, Sandra. At the time(months before Prom) I was was greeted by a lot of tweens/teens who were putting themselves into quite scandalous(from my memory) dresses. Pretty, but man… if that were my daughter… Anyhow, beyond this«16 and Pregnant» moment I was greeted and welcomed, without an appointment-something I was also not expecting(a dreary Sunday, but still). As many people told me in my journey to find a dress(9 months before my wedding) they were concerned that I was ‘pushing it with time’. This is laughable to me(an avid procrastinator), but I guess it’s the industry. We looked at dresses that could be ordered in that time frame and found quite a few nice options. I wasn’t in love with any dress up to that point(had a few favorites at another store) but they allowed me to take pictures(helpful as my mom is 3,000 miles away) and I planned to come back with some friends the next weekend. I did, indeed, come back with my mom(who flew out) and two trusted friends. When we got there Sandra pulled the dresses I liked and a few more to look at. There was a bit of a wait so they ushered us up the elevator to wait. I wasn’t sure what was upstairs, turns out that is where the furs are kept. Felt a little weirded out by the price and quantity, but then again… I wasn’t in the market for furs. The man selling upstairs treated us to some champagne, which was a nice touch after an afternoon looking at dresses. We talked to him and had a nice, if at times odd, conversation. Despite the nice, and relatively affordable, selection of dressed… I had just found the one dress I was really excited about 30 minutes before we arrived. I’m not a girly-girl or ruffles and fluff kind of person(they took this into account at Kotsovos) and the dress I found(and ultimately bought) was still fresh in my mind. As a result, all things were compared to that. It was a unique dress so nothing could really compete. I’d advocate that the selection here is good, and I might have been able to find something to fit my needs had THE dress not have just shown itself to me. From my point of view, my experience here was very positive despite what appeared from the street to perhaps be an out of reach retailer. The staff was kind to me, if a bit protective, garnering some real annoyance form one of my friends who was snapped at for suggesting a dress. Given their awareness of the dress I really liked, I think shutting my group down was a mistake — the dress I never saw, could have been comparable to the one I ultimately bought. I understand not confusing the bride with choices(especially one who was largely ambivalent about the process) but sometimes friends know best. I appreciate the time and attention I was given at Kotsovos and by Sandra. I’d recommend them to others in the market for specialty dresses. Not sure anyone I know buys furs, but if someone asked… I’d share this place for that end as well.

My dad is 100% convinced that every woman wants to own expensive and luxurious furs, meaning that my mom gets one almost every Christmas. He always goes to Kostovos Furs to get her the latest and greatest; fox, mink, what have you. I’ve been with him a few times and though the store gives me the heebie-jeebies(I’m definitely too much of an animal lover to wear fur), I have to admit that the coats and clothing are decadent and gorgeous. The staff is always helpful without being intrusive in the buying process and they are cooperative in determining the right fur for the right buyer. Every price I’ve ever seen in the store is outrageous but I’m pretty sure this is the case when it comes to fur buying. The store also offers exclusive fur alternation and cleaning processes. Kostovos features a number of well-constructed leather coats and accessories and quite a few lines of formal wear; including prom dresses and a bridal section… this place specializes in fur but has some striking gowns and accessories as well.
