Kroger

Definitely love this Kroger. The idea of having Starbucks while you shop is just amazing. I shop longer so I can have two cups and even spend a ton of time in the sushi area. This store is exciting being they always keep new items stocked fresh. Kroger as a company and this location are what I expect of my local grocery store.

This Kroger has a decent selection of every day groceries. I live close to this Kroger, so I frequent it for every day shopping. However, if I need a gourmet/​organic/​hard to find item, I will venture to the location down the street in Anderson.

So far, I’ve been pretty satisfied with this Kroger store. There is a bigger Kroger down on Five Mile Road just down the street, but since this one is closer to my home, I’ve found myself coming here for those quick trips to the grocery store.
As grocery stores go, you’ve got all the basics. I enjoy the fact they have a whole organic aisle and organic produce — not every place does, so for those who are all about organic food, this is great!
During the day, the staff is decent! Just recently I had to hit up the deli, and I had absolutely wonderful service from a cheerful friendly employee who even gave me a great deal on some smoked gouda cheese.
At night, I’ve found the staff is less than friendly. Granted, I realize I’m running up there at 12:00 a.m., so it’s not the most cheerful time of day, but I recently needed some emergency grocery supplies. I tried to ask a clerk nicely for some help in getting some items, and I got major attitude in return. I even attempted to ask how they were doing, which was a big mistake. I got a glare and ignored for the next 3 minutes while I had to follow them to the correct aisle.
So if you venture out here at night, just be aware the staff isn’t always so helpful.
Overall, however, I love the fact I can find almost anything I need, from car supplies to household items to food. It’s right off the exit ramp for I-​275, so it’s convenient coming from either direction.
