Larry’s Convenient Food Mart

Used to go here all the time when I was growing up, I’m so glad it’s still there! I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the staff, they have a wide variety of products, and the prices are reasonable.
I vote with my wallet and always try to support small businesses like this one, rather than ⁷⁄₁₁ and gas stations. Stop in to Larry’s the next time you’re in White Oak!

So my mother and I were just cruising through the old White Oak neighborhood, my old stumping ground, in the car and out of the blue my mother remembered some Ohio lottery numbers her brother had suggested she should play. So then my she saw Larry’s and wheeled us right in.
This mini-​mart is very well kept up — there is even incredibly plush carpet right by the snack section! How nice! I just picked up a Dasani and a Sunbelt bar, mom played those lotto numbers (could we get lucky?) and treated herself to a donut. The young lady cashier that checked us out was a dear, she was kind and benevolent to my mother and I. Just a sweetie.
And the costumers in this area are friendly too, a woman complemented my mom’s purse. I just love White Oak and Colerain and… well the West Side period for that matter.
I’m naturally just a sucker for small local businesses, and this little place is no different. It is one of the best convenient stores I have visited in a while! I will definitely be back again! Thank you!

Whoa! Six flavors of Slush Puppies!
I randomly stumbled upon this place after visiting the neighboring Mr. Hanton’s restaurant. Peering inside, I saw the old school, hand pump syrups alongside the slush machine. I couldn’t resist, especially since they had my favorite flavor: lime!
