I took a pair of women’s black leather ankle boots in for a repair after I had run them ragged through two winters. My main priority was fixing the heel cap that had been worn through, but I also wanted to have them polished and have the heel repaired after it got caught in some diamond-​grate steps.
The women at the counter said that they would definitely fix the heel cap, but wasn’t sure if they could repair the deep scuff on the heel. I took the shoes in on a Saturday and she gave me my claim check to pick them up on Monday afternoon.
On Monday I went to pick up my shoes and see how they did. All I can say is «WOW!» They looked like a totally new pair of shoes… better than new. The deep heel scuff was completey smoothed over and the heels were coated and resealed. The entire shoes were polished and of course the heel cap was replaced as well. All of this for the reasonable price of $ 9. I was so pleased and will definitely return for other repairs both minor and major.
Based on the store’s interior and flow of clients, it looks like they do some pretty major volume through there. I guess I’m not the only satisfied customer.
