This is what is great about visiting local places. Why stop at a chain for a doughnut when you can stop here, a bakery that has been in business for 90 years, and get some doughnuts from the very kind ladies who work here? I got a variety of doughnuts(yeast, cake, and the WONDERFUL sour cream) for the staff at work. Once I opened the box, they didn’t last long. The best part was the fact the bakery is just down the street from work but not one of the staff knew it was there. Now they know and they know what a tasty doughnut they make there.

A wonderful little shop. The ladies working there were so nice to my two year old. Worth a quick stop.

I love this place. So many good things to choose from. Almost all of their donuts are good and they have seasonal/experimental ones as well(during the fall they have an awesome pumpkin doughnut) My favorite doughnut is their caramel glazed cinnamon roll. I also love their brownies and cookies

Amazing. A staple since I was a little kid. Donuts are the best. Tea cookies, rolls and all the rest are always wonderful. Worth the trip no matter where you drive from.

Bakery is in downtown Mount Healthy, Ohio. I have been going there for years and have visited many local bakeries over the last 55 years. Little Dutch Bakery has the best donuts ever! Even better than Peter Pan Donuts in Sausalito, CA. Note that Unilocalers report Peter Pan Donuts has closed. So I have lost my #2; but still have my all time #1 !!! Stop by and meet the friendly staff and treat yourself to the best donuts around! I recommend the Glazed Twist, shown in the picture, as a must have! PS… their Cherry Danish is excellent!

Little Dutch Bakery in Mount Healthy, Ohio(just north of Cincinnati) is 3rd generation family-owned and operated. This little bakery is small and unassuming but packs a big punch winning awards for their«Beehive Coffee Cake» left and right. They also offer: donuts, danish, breads, or tea cookies, custom-made wedding cakes, and cupcakes. While we were in we opted for a blueberry cake donut and a glazed donut. We showed up around 1pm on a Tuesday and to be honest the donuts were not all that fresh, but hey it’s a donut. We left happy. Overall what is more impressive is that this bakery has lasted for over 90 years. Stop in for a treat and support this awesome local biz!

Cake is what it’s all about. Wedding cakes, birthday cakes, coffee cakes. The beehive coffee cake has been rated the best coffee cake in Cincinnati(by the Cincnnati Enquirer), and for good reason, it melts in your mouth. This famous coffee cake has been handed down through three generations of the same baking family and was brought over from Germany and the baking guilds well over 100 years ago. The beehive comes in two sizes, and can either be had with carmel icing(my recommended choice) or the white iced(also very good). Take one home, heat it lightly in the oven and wash it down with some chocolate milk. If you like cinnamon rolls, or schnecken, you will devour one of these treats and wished you had picked up two! Wedding/birthday cakes are most excellent. I’ve had occaission to enjoy several different varieties of cakes from the bakery and all are exceptional. White cake with almond icing is a fantastic choice for a great wedding cake. Don’t stop by on Monday, as the bakery is closed Sundays/Mondays. The other pastries, donuts, cookies, etc., are also good, but again, go for the cake!
