Tamales a la Villa! It was excellent. Service is very good, as well.

Food was honestly mediocre. Bland, Bland, Bland. I have gotten sick from eating from this location.

Great margaritas. The food is tasty and less expensive than other local Mexican joints. My goto is the Villa Taco Salad. We go there probably once per month, never had bad service.

Great location. Can get very busy on weekends… be prepared to wait. Love the outdoor seating. Fajitas and margaritas are amazing!

This is a pretty mediocre Mexican restaurant. If you like generic«Authentic Mexican Food», then this place might be for you. But the Molé was seriously wanting, the salsa was bland and pathetic(ask for the Habañero salsa if you want any heat), no agua fresca, and you have to specifically ask for corn tortillas instead of flour. The staff was very nice. I had them make carnitas tacos for my son(not on the menu), and they were great. So not everything is mediocre. But no tacos Al Pastor, Lingua or Chorizo? No Bueno.

There aren’t a lot of Mexican restaurants in this neck of the woods, so it was nice to finally find somewhere good. We just went today for my best friend’s birthday, and it was a blast! The food was really good, and the service was quick and speedy. The margaritas were strong and tasty, but I little pricey. She had the Make Your Own Combo, with a tamale and the guacamole salad. They brought her the wrong entrée at first — which usually wouldn’t be a problem, except that she has celiac’s and couldn’t eat what they brought her(I think it was an empanada) and didn’t have a list of ingredients and allergens. But they took it back and brought her the right meal really quickly. I had the enchiladas suizas and was very happy with it. The kitschy, camp décor is entertaining, and the food — while not the most authentic — is pretty good. Overall, I’d say it’s a great place to check out if you live in the area, but don’t make a special trip.

I know finding a good Mexicam Restaurant isn’t easy and some people swear by their local joint, but this place has always delivered the goods. Margarita’s great, fresh chips and salsa: check. Food is always very good, and hasn’t disappointed. What the heck give it a shot; personally I don’t think you will be disappointed. Oh yeah hit the happy hour up for a drink you’ll enjoy the strength of the drinks.

All it usually takes for me to dig a Mexican restaurant is a tasty, decently strong margarita and a vegetarian menu section. This place delivers on both accounts! Good service, menu items priced reasonably, complimentary chips and salsa… and it’s less than 10 minutes away — I’m sure I’ll be back!

I wouldn’t say that Los Panchos is remarkable. It’s a decent Mexican restaurant. The food is good. I recommend getting a stuffed poblano pepper. Their mole sauce is yummy as well. The service is great, though – fast, friendly, and patient. If you’re in the Colerain area, it’s a good place to eat.

It was fairly busy for what I would call a late lunch. That’s usually a good sign. I was greeted, seated, and eating in no time with their great service. This spot is a huge value. They have big lunch portions and are cheaper than the other Mexican joints. I was a happy camper! It’s a big place, so I don’t think you’ll have an issue getting a table pretty quickly even during the busy times. The bar wasn’t separate from the eating area, which always makes me worry that the noise will be too much. I’ve only been during lunch, so I can’t say for sure. Good food at a great price will definitely have me coming back.

Great Mexican food and the salsa is one of the best I’ve had. I would have gave it five stars but the server we had was unpleasant. He wasn’t rude, just never checked up on us and when he sat our drinks down they spilled on the table and he didn’t clean it up or give us extra napkins. This was also around 2:30 when there was no other customers to be waited on besides us.

I found a large piece of half-cooked plastic wrap in my mouth after taking a bite of fajita. I didn’t pay for the entrée and I’m not going back.

Went back recently on a busy Friday night(had only been at pretty quiet times before) and was super impressed with the speed and efficiency of the service. Also discovered a new favorite: a quesadilla with chorizo and chicken, which is an absolutely wonderful flavor combination. You can’t beat the prices, either.

Thought I’d update my review now that we’re vegan. They have a veggie burrito with rice & beans you can ask for without cheese. There are veggie fajitas on the lunch menu, but we haven’t had that yet.

I grew up loving Taco Bell. So I guess it was only a matter of time before I moved on to actual Mexican food. My area of Columbus has several authentic Mexican restaurants to choose from, so when I first came to visit my boyfriend at his new apartment in Colerain I was a little upset to find that there was only one nearby. I was a little skeptical of Los Panchos given that it’s connected to the Red Carpet Inn. Once inside though, I knew it would be fantastic. The restaurant is huge — so we’ve always been seated immediately. He always gets the fajitas & I usually stick with the chicken enchiladas. The food & the margaritas are too die for. I just wish that they’d offer black beans as well as a substitute to refried beans. Oh well, it can’t have everything.

I have to admit that I am not normally a fan of «authentic» mexican food. I was a fan of Chi Chi’s so there you go. I can’t help it. Shredded beef? No thanks. I like chimichangas(if that’s spelled right) with ground beef. Anyway, we really enjoyed the food at Los Panchos. The place was clean, and the service was solid. Give it a try!
