The food was decent. Pizza good — a bit on the expensive side. Salad not worth the price, at all. Waitress was friendly. Won’t refuse to go back, but also not planning to visit anytime soon. By the looks of how dead the place was, people must feel the same. Too many other great places nearby!

We found this gem using the app for Mothers Day. They easily acomodated a table for five. We had four vegetarians and one carnivore. The beet hummus with pita was to die for! We shared vegetarian pizzas. The Margherita, Spinaci(minus the prosciutt), a pick your own veggie and our carnivore had a sausage and apple. All was delicious! We recieved great, personal service… we have no complaints and will most likely go back. Especially for more of that beet hummus!

Loved the Mother’s Day brunch! My wife enjoyed it and that makes me happy. Definitely a place to honor that special lady in your life. We will be back!!!

I love wood fired pizza and so happy this place is so close to my house! They have some outside seating, on the side walk, perfect for people watching :) but my favorite part is the bar inside. Part of the bar is typical, where guests sit in front of where drinks are made. The other is in front of the open kitchen and the wood oven itself! I love watching the cooks do their thing and hearing the Chef call out, makes for great atmosphere! But don’t worry, if you don’t want to be a part of the busy kitchen, they do have tables as well. The menu is simple-a few starters, where I highly recommend the artichokes! Then a few salads and entries-classic Italian dishes. But then there is the pizza, hmm the pizza! They offer 10(I think) specialty pizzas, and my favorite is #3(sorry, can’t for the life of me remember the name, but I know for sure it’s #3) It has prosciutto, artichokes, spinach, and pesto! Amazing! a must try! Staff is always friendly and they know their stuff when it comes to wine and the menu! I highly suggest giving this place a try! :)

The pizza was good. The kitchen is a disaster. My friend and I sat at the bar which looks directly into the kitchen. Watching the staff was entertaining to say the least. Location is good. Pizza is thin with delicious toppings and wood fired(which just automatically makes pizza better). Paired with a few beers and good décor — this was a decent night out. Our server was friendly as well.

It’s that time of the month again! No, not toe nail trimming time but monthly dinner time! Toe nail trimming might have given me more enjoyment than M Wood Fire Pizza, JUSTKIDDING We started off the meal with the Short Rib Mac&Cheese as well as the Truffle Fries. I will agree with previous reviews, the price for both of them is a little on the high side. $ 12 for a small side of ooey gooey goodness is a little steep, especially compared to Keystones larger portions. The good news is that both are rather delicious so you forget about the elevated price tag that comes with it. The pizza, however, I cannot say is warrants the price. For $ 14 we got the Fig & Pig which tasted more like an Arugula&Arugula with a side of Arugula. Overall the food was decent but I don’t think I’ll be coming back, solely because I think I can get better pizza from some place else.

My second experience was very different from my first. I almost felt like I was visiting a different restaurant. Some of the things I enjoyed most on my first visit, were things I enjoyed the least, namely the environment(brighter lights and loud music were something I didn’t remember and didn’t enjoy this time around), the bruschetta, and the Fig and Pig pizza. All of the above were highlights on my first visit months ago but this time around were really underwhelming. It almost seemed like a different restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the dessert consisting of homemade donuts, whipped cream, and fresh fruit. It was very good and I’d certainly recommend.

I went to M Pizza with a large group. We had reservations but our group turned out to be larger than the reservation but the staff handled it graciously and changed our table to accommodate us. Their beer and wine list was diverse and a good mixture. We started off with the Cauliflower Gratin — a mixture of cauliflower, brussel sprouts, spinach and sage. It was good but very rich and with the sage reminded me of Thanksgiving. The richness made it hard to finish. A friend got the short rib macaroni cheese which was excellent and left me with appetizer envy. We opted for the Fig & Pig pizza as I’ve had A Tavola’s version and loved it. This one was decent but not nearly as tasty as A Tavola. The ingredients just didn’t seem balanced. Too much arugula and not enough cheese, which to me is a cardinal sin of a pizza. Overall ok but for the prices there is better out there.

Decent food, outrageous prices and not worth it. I didn’t realized how much of a rip off this place was until I got home. Fries were good but not worth $ 8. Short rib Mac & cheese was decent but once again not worth $ 12 especially since there are places that serve phenomenal mac & cheese for half the price; the eagle, keystone, and nada are some of my favorites. Lastly, the salmon risotto was a big rip off. It was somewhat bland and the portion was small. If I wanted to pay $ 20 for a small plate of fish, I could’ve gone to Boca or Mitchell’s fish market for fish that’s 3x as good. My friends got pizza and it was good. Unless you’re getting pizza, this place is a rip.

Just went here for Brunch… very impressed. I had the Breakfast Pizza and the BLT. Great atmosphere with a modern look, exposed brick, wooden tables and the fire brick oven brings it all together. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I ate here for the first time last week for brunch. They have bottomless mimosas– that we’re just OK, a decent wine list, and a varied brunch menu. Over all we were happy with our experience. I ordered the pork and donut entrée and my husband got the stone bowl, which he loved. Over all portion sizes are small-decent size, so if you’re hungry go for the breakfast pizza or bowl. Service was acceptable and my husband said that their in house goetta was the best goetta ever. A mighty compliment in Cincinnati!

I really love M. I’ve been here a handful of times, and every time we’ve had great, attentive service, enjoyed our food, and tried new things. Tonight my husband and I went to M to celebrate his birthday and our evening was impeccable. Our server Abby was friendly, attentive, and funny. We had the truffle fries(of course) and short rib Mac and cheese for appetizers. Then we shared the Sausage and Apple pizza to switch it up. For dessert we tried the doughnuts and they were pretty good! We also ended up getting the Fig and Pig to go, just because we love it. I made reservations ahead on Open Table and put a note we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special! We really appreciated the extra touches and thoughtful service! Next, we’re gonna try the brunch!

My friend was visiting from out of town so we decided to take a walk to try M. I have only been here once, so this review is solely based on that experience. I really like the atmosphere… It’s like rustic/trendy, with lanterns and wood accents everywhere. Our server was very friendly and when we told her we had never been there before, she explained the food and bar menu to us. We started with the truffle fries. I am absolutely a french fry addict, and these were good, but I felt like they were a little too«truffle-y»…Though I guess I should know better than to expect truffle to be subtle. I also thought they were expensive for $ 8. My fiancé wasn’t too hungry so he just got the house salad, which was super tasty. It had some interesting toppings on it(pancetta, blue cheese, etc.) and it was really good. I stole a few bites from his plate. I got the fungo pizza, because I love mushrooms and mushrooms. But this one was just TOOMUCH. It was pretty stinky, and normally I love these flavors but they took them to the extreme. I don’t think I would order that one again. My friend got a normal pepperoni pizza which she really enjoyed. The crust is good. I got wine and she got a cocktail. Overall, I think the food is ok but our bill was huge, and I don’t think our portions were that big. I wish we hadn’t paid so much for our dinner… I didn’t think it was worth what we paid for it.

M overall is good, not out of this world, but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I loved the décor inside, rustic with lots of wood and open kitchen so you can see the wood fired oven and the chef and cooks working. We ordered the cauliflower au gratin as an appetizer, it was so yummy. I have had the same dish at a New York restaurant owned by a celebrity chef and this was pretty comparable. The fig and pig pizza was good as well, sweet and savory, and bacon is always good. We had a delicious Syrah that was on special, recommended by the manager. We would like to come back and try brunch, I have heard the breakfast pizza is top notch.

Upon walking in at 6:30 on a Friday night the hostess was very gracious and accommodating. Love the relaxed ambiance and the cool use of old barn wood! Nicely designed layout. Now to the food: ordered the cauliflower app. Wow! So good! Also ordered the truffle fries. Actually got two orders as they were that good. Ordered three pizzas. Crust was just ok, but the toppings were spot on. Crust should have more crunch, little on the soft side for my taste. Please know I’m a thin crispy crust kinda guy. That’s the only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star. Love this place and will be back!!!

I heard M had short rib mac and cheese. Thats all I needed to know. I went there today before work and got the mac for my lunch and a pizza for my dinner. Its located on Erie Ave around Keystone so parking can be a bear. You’ve been forewarned. I got lucky however it being a tuesday afternoon before the dinner rush started. The place is really cute. I love the rustic wood décor. It gives a modern, whimsical, homey feel. The bar staff where I sat was extremely nice and you can see directly into the kitchen. I like that a lot. It shows you how professional the staff is. There was a giant wood fire oven in front where all your pizza needs are met. For lunch I opted obviously for the short rib mac and cheese. I liked it a lot, but it had truffle oil in it. I HATE truffle oil. It wasn’t so bad on the top, but the bottom of the bowl was drowning in it. The short ribs themselves were cooked wonderfully. The mac noodles were large with a perfect amount of gooey cheese and crumbs. It was just the oil. Had I know it was in there I would have asked to not have it. This will be a really good dish if I go back and order it plain. For me it was better than Keystone, but not as good as Incline Public House. For dinner I got a pizza to go. I eat late because I’m a night shifted so I munched on it around midnight. It was just ok. The price was super high for what you get. I think with the extra toppings it was $ 17 for a small pizza.(YOWZA) I opted for the popular one– fig and pig. It comes with arugula and balsamic with garlic confit. Then I got pesto, pine nuts, and goat cheese. It was not a bad pizza by any means. Good actually, but not as good as I expected. Its a place whose name sake is based on gourmet pizza, I wanted them to step it up a little more. If the pizza was $ 10 I would go back and eat it for sure– but for $ 17 its not worth it. I ate about half and got rid of the rest. So this place was a bit of a miss for me. The food was good but the price was too high. Mac and cheese and a small pizza set me back $ 38 after tip. I’d suggest trying somewhere else unless its a splurge meal.

This is odd, but walking into M, I found that it smelled vaguely of barbecue sauce. Maybe it’s just me, because I asked my husband, and he didn’t seem to notice. Not that it was a bad smell, but just an observation. The interior is nice with simple wooden tables for dining, and there is an open kitchen area with the wood fire oven. We started with an order of the Truffle Fries, which come with Sriracha Aioli(or the«nectar of the gods», as our server called it.) Good stuff. A bit of spice, but definitely not too overpowering for me(a big baby when it comes to spicy stuff). Love truffle fries and love aioli. At $ 7, I think this might be a bit high though. Even Senate only charges $ 5 for their Truffle Fries… and I’m not sure which ones are better. I had heard good things about the Cauliflower Gratin, and true to its reputation, my husband was raving about it. Ever the food critic, I found some bites to be a bit too peppery, but I still enjoyed it overall. Finally, we shared the Popeye Pizza, which was pretty good. I believe both M and Delicio Coal Fired Pizza use the same pizza-preparation technique, but M’s pizza came out much better as I found Delicio to be much too charred for my taste. After we had finished dinner and considered dessert, our server shared the brunch menu with us, and I am definitely hoping to make it back some time soon to enjoy what looks to be a delicious brunch!

A group of women friends ate here on a Tuesday night, as part of a group of 28. We had a reservation and arrived at 5:15pm so we didn’t have to wait. By the time we left at 8pm we were still only about ½ of the people there(they had open tables). Our 2 tables of 14 were so close to the wall and to each other, that when one person needed to get up to use the restroom, everyone had to get up to let them out! Poor planning by whoever set up the tables-need more room between chairs & wall, and between adjoining tables chair backs when people are sitting in them. There was a breeze inside blowing on our table, so we were glad that we had jackets. The music was playing loud enough that we couldn’t hear each other as well as we’d like to, at least by 6:30pm when we were surrounded by other full tables. Now for positives: the waiters were very friendly and helpful and earned the 20% gratuity on our individual checks. They kept our drinks filled, even our waters, and brought whatever we needed promptly. Between all of us we ordered a wide variety of items. I can only comment on what the 6 women near me said, and that is: the food was OK, but the menu choices were not enticing — didn’t make us want to come back. Even the dessert menu didn’t tempt any of us ladies to order anything. A few of us had looked at the online menu before we arrived, thinking of ordering a certain item, but we found that the menu had been changed that day so the items were not available.

Located in Hyde Park next to Haps. I believe this replaced the previous restaurant, Amarin. The restaurant has a very cozy feel and I absolutely love the décor(earthy). My friend raved about this place and wanted me to try it. We made reservations through Open Table for 7:00 p.m. dinner on a Friday night. We were seated right away. The server was very attentive and friendly. Got our drinks very quickly(water and wine). I think the wine selection is very decent. Ordered the Malbec(red wine) and thought it was really good. For Dinner, I ordered the Miso Salmon with Asparagus and Risotto Cake. We didn’t have to wait long. My friend ordered the Cauliflower Gratin which I had a bite and thought it was delish. My salmon was okay. The Miso flavoring was alittle Blah and my risotto cake was cold. Clean, including the restrooms. Parking could be hard to find(Meters and street parking). I think it’s a bit pricey. I would like to come back and try the Pizza which I heard from my friends are really good. I know I will have to update my review.

Do you like your chicken medium rare? If you do, this place is for you. I’ve already crucified them in a previous review so I won’t waste too much time now. Just know that I made a huge mistake by giving them a second chance. I ordered a pizza and chicken Alfredo to go and had a beer while I waited. I got home, cut into the chicken, and found their special surprise — undercooked chicken!!! I brought it back and they didn’t even really care. So, I spent $ 38 for food that I can’t even give my dog. See the attached picture for a clear view. And, for the love of god, don’t risk your health by dining at this dump!
