This place has historic charm with well kept treasures built into every apartment. We moved in a while back and fell in love with the beauty of each room, the hardwood floors, built in cabinets and gorgeous ceilings. The clientele is as diverse as the neighborhood, but it is mostly quiet and homey. Friendly neighbors mixed with the surroundings make for a great place to hang your hat at night. The main entrance has a gorgeous marble staircase and original stained glass that makes you feel really regal living here. I also enjoy the side stair cases, which have been well kept and we were told they were first used by maids which gives you a sense of times gone by. The only thing to keep in mind is it is an old building, built in 1897, and comes with original fixtures and outlets which can be overwhelmed at times and blow a fuse. Keep some extra on hand and enjoy the history you are now a part of.
