We had a really nice trip one afternoon. The river was quiet and seems very clean. We used kayaks. I also like Green Acres on the other side of town. I don’t know which is best. Both are nice. This one is expensive, I think.

Had a great time on the river when I visited! We made a reservation for 11:45 and they were backed up until about 12:30. That’s probably my only complaint, but the place is small, so if you come expecting that, no harm, no foul. They had a great selection of canoes and kayaks, both tandem and single. The pricing seemed competitive with the other companies around. It’s also across the street from 50 West… bonus points.

What a great experience! We’ve been customers of a few other liveries, but we’re Mariemont’s customers from this point forward. You get options of how you want to float down the river, it’s affordable and the staff is extremely accommodating! Definitely make this your livery home!

We rented kayaks here, having previously rented canoes from Little Miami and Scenic River Canoe rentals. The difference is that other local rental shops are staffed by workers who genuinely seems to enjoy the outdoors and being on the water. In comparison, Mariemont Livery workers seem to be minimum wage workers who are bored, need a summer job and are killing time. In fact, it seemed like we were an inconvenience. When we asked about any differences between handling a canoe and a kayak on the river, our associate said he had no idea, as he’d never been on the river, nor used a kayak!!! Personally, I would recommend renting elsewhere.
