Slowest McDonald’s ever and always. Today, a Sunday at 12:30, waited over a ½ hour in drive-thru for a coffee & fish sandwich. I almost decided to just abandon the order because, after ½ hour, there were still 8 people in front of me. There’s no reason a McDonalds should ever be this slow! Plus, new ordering windows are quite confusing. This is a brand new McDonalds on a very busy road. Why is it not staffed as such?

The indoor playland was entertaining enough for a 3 year old to spend 2 hours playing on it. There is a tv mounted on the wall so parents can watch(black and white) Video feed from the the top level of the playland. The playland and all other facilities were very clean.

I’m about as conditioned to fast food here in America as the next guy or gal. So when I walked into the McDonald’s restaurant on Winton Road and was shocked by its presentation… I felt almost speechless. NICE oh man NICE! I learned that the old McDonald’s here(get it, old McDonald had a farm… LOL) burned down and a new one built. This place is first-class. Shiny brushed metal counter tops and tables, stools, seating is great, etched glass room dividers and twin drive thrus. I ate inside as you might have guessed and was a happy camper. My meal was a fish sandwich and a junior order of fries. I ordered a medium beverage, too. Basic fish — I McDee’s fish better then every other place except BK. The fries — standard presentation and they were hot, a plus. The beverage I chose and I did an Arnold Palmer using unsweetened tea and lemonade. Ugh! That went unfinished as the tea was horrible. So if you’re driving along on Winton Road near Fleminig Road and want to have a fresh as a daisy fast-food experience… choose McDonald’s. Ronald the clown would be proud of this eatery.

After the fire, this location was rebuilt with a super-sweet indoor playland. If you need a place to take the kids when the weather’s bad or you don’t have much money to spend, you can’t beat this McDonald’s. The play equipment is always clean and well-maintained, there is a separate area for the little bits, there is a camera up inside where it’s otherwise hard for parents to see and the touch screen game stations actually work(and include games parents enjoy lol!) there is hand sanitizer available and plenty of seating within the play area. And of course, free wifi. I gave it five stars because even though it’s still McDonald’s food, it’s always fresh, my order is always right and it’s the cleanest fast food joint I’ve ever visited.
