I frequently shop the main location in Mason for both my landscape supply needs and for their gorgeous plants. I love shopping where my plants are grown and their horticulturalists are fantastic for answering my many, many gardening questions.

We stopped by here to see what they had in the green thumb variety. It was a hot Sunday afternoon and the parking lot was full of eager gardeners. First off, we checked out the ice cream trolley in the parking lot — unfortunately melty offerings :(- but this is about the garden center.
So, they certainly have a lot of variety and a huge building of topsoils and mulches, and you’ll probably find whatever it is you’re looking for there. But after many trips to many gardening centers, I just wasn’t impressed with the quality of plants here. The veggies were bursting out of their little planters and the annuals were wilted and droopy. We watched as multiple employees watered the plants and hoped they have an underground cistern for water recycling, as the precious commodity mostly just watered cement. We even had a coupon, but it didn’t make it worth our while.

I don’t live in the area, but made a special trip because of a coupon on their website. I am also not a landscaper by any means, so take this review with a grain of salt. That being said:
This is a good place for bulk mulch, topsoil, etc. and they have several varieties.
I shopped three places for topsoil and this place had the best price and it was good topsoil (however I am not sure I know what bad topsoil is). I would recommend. Be sure to check their website for coupons.
