I visited the New Edgecliff Theatre last night for a performance of «Title of Show.» This clever, self-referential meta-musical featured a talented cast of likable characters. This was my visit to this theatre based out of an old church, but it won’t be my last. One warning, though: church pews, even with cushions, get uncomfortable during a 90 minute show without an intermission. I would suggest the movie theatre seats instead.

We recently saw The Death of a Salesman performed at this small theatre set in an old Methodist Episcopal church.(Old church = bad insulation = really cold! bring a jacket!) The venue is charming and the actors were great! We will definitely go back to their next show. Also be sure to check out the works of art by local artists in the box office lobby. It’s a fun place to gather and hang out before the show.
