The Old Timber Inn is a throw back in every sense of the word… it may not look like much from the outside but inside there is a family who puts the effort in to good home-​style food. If you decide to arrive on a Friday during Lent prepare to wait, the fish log and macaroni cheese is in high demand and delicious.

I had to have a Fish Log & this is one of the few places that serves the delicacy. Nice waitress, nice owner, the kitchen looked ok from what I saw but like the other reviewer noted, the bar was dark & cluttered. Fish log, fries & cole slaw were all ok. Table, plate & silver were clean. And I can now cross a fish log off my bucket list.
