fabulous options with an amazing staff who is always more than happy to help you style an outfit. There are also always some amazing little displays put together and I usually end up buying the whole ensemble because it’s so well styled! My favorite store in the city

This place is super cute! They have stuff I can never find anywhere else at reasonable prices. The staff is always nice and helpful. Pangea, Kismet, and Toko Baru are all great places to shop, especially for gifts.

I’ve been to both locations, the one in Yellow Springs and the one in Cincinnati, but have done much more shopping at the Ludlow one. For a boutique, it can be surprisingly affordable! I find the Yellow Springs one is much more hippie, boho styles and the one in Cinci has some more sophisticated fashions and accessories. If you go into the clearance in the back, the prices are totally reasonable, cheap even! And it’s not a wimpy clearance either, good selection. They have super cute hats, also. Only small complaint is that they carry some brands like Volcom, things you could just go buy at the mall.

I love it here. Over the years that I’ve been going to this store, I’ve collected some of my ALLTIME favorite pieces. The staff is always super friendly, and their selection changes just enough to keep it interesting. Highly recommend!

I love this place. I live in Gaslight, so it’s super convenient. They pack so much stuff into the tiny store without it feeling cramped. My BF has purchased a moonstone ring and necklace from here and they are beautiful-I get compliments all the time. They also have very reasonable prices on earrings-my daughter is constantly losing her earrings, so I love that you can by earrings by the pair or individually and they are very reasonable! The first time I went in, I was shocked at how sweet the girl working the register was. I told her I was looking for a bracelet or ring to give my daughter who was a «fidgeter» due to her ADHD, and she helped me find the perfect bracelet, all while being very chatty and kind. She even boxed up the gift nicely. My daughter was so excited.

I’m a dude and I find this store charming. I have women in my life. A wife and two daughters. These is the type of place they like to shop… or get gifts from. They won’t buy something and see it on someone else. Plus, they get the hippie-dippie vibe that can only come from shopping on Ludlow Avenue. Some say the prices are high but I’ve not noticed that. Then again, I don’t know prices for women’s clothing much at all. A unique shop for something for yourself or someone in your life.

This is place is downright trendy/cool/hip/bohemian. Its the perfect place for the modern hippie to build a wardrobe. It is also a quite a pricey little boutique(which is why I am only giving it an A-OK). I went in looking for a pretty dress for my birthday party. They’re stocked to the gills with pretty dresses all carrying a $ 35 or higher price tag. Pangaea has bags, shoes, and accessories; all cute and a little closer to my budget. They’re also into earth friendly with some brands focused on carbon footprint. The cashier was really helpful and pleasant(I had another bag with me which she stowed at the counter while I tried on dresses). Then at the counter she asked me all kinds of questions about my birthday plans and my boyfriend(the gift buyer of the said birthday party dress). She was very sweet. I don’t go in much because the prices are a bit out of my range. But I window shop more than I’d like.

Great place to stop in to find unique boutique dresses and jewelry. They have all the new ‘trendy’ things. The dresses are really pretty and overall it’s the ultimate ‘girly’ store. The prices are pretty good for a boutique. Great location for an afternoon of shopping at the other boutiques nearby, stop in to the Esquire, or Stillwell’s for coffee, tons of Indian restaurants on this street too.

Such a cute little boutique. I’ve already spent way too much money in there. They have a really diverse selection, great jewelry, and awesome shoes. Every time I go in, I see something I like. Their pricing is really reasonable; not much in the store is over $ 50, and the girls working behind the counter are always friendly and helpful. I can’t walk down Ludlow without at least some quick window-shopping.

I’m not going to lie — I avoided Pangaea Trading Company for the entire past 9 months of living in Clifton because I figured it was some kind of hemp-loving bare-footed hippie shop; so, I have nobody to blame but myself for not experiencing the greatness of this shop sooner! I had a Groupon to redeem at Pangaea and for the 12309128th time in my time living in Clifton, I was on Ludlow walking past the shop as I was running errands. Well, I stopped in after being enticed at the handful of people inside… and I’m so glad I did! Pangaea Trading Company is a quaint clothing and accessory store, most of the items being Bohemian in style. There are flowy tunic shirts, leggins, sun dresses, trousers, hats, skirts, shoes, jewelry, and everything in between. I bought a cotton dress, a light tunic, a handmade brass ring, and a long-sleeved shirt made of 100% organic cotton. For some, the prices may seem a bit steep(because they are) but I’m fine with this for many reasons. Firstly, the fact that there are a variety of items but few of each, reminds me of high-end boutiques found in larger cities. Secondly, because Pangaea is locally-owned, you know where your money is going. Thirdly, the odds of seeing someone in the same outfit as you is very rare when you purchase your items from a small shop such as this! The employees in the store are very kind and were keeping the place in order and tending to everyone there. The shop is intimate without being cramped, and everything is laid out and organized very well. I may not shop here for little things like tank tops or flip flops, but if I’m in the need of a nice summer dress or accessories, I’ll look no further!

Love the items they sell!!! Love it! Atmosphere is wonderful except for the new stuffy help that worked the day I went in. I got the same vibe as I did at Toko Baru(unhelpful rude!!) However I had a great experience at Toko Kidz. And I will shop Pangaea again as they have items I can’t find anywhere else. Hope she gets better– friendlier sales people.

Pangaea is sandwiched between Graeter’s and Sitwells on Ludlow avenue. While you take time to browse the trendiest fashions you can also enjoy a cold milkshake or hot coffee. That’s usually what I end up doing atleast. Over the years, Pangaea has dramatically improved their inventory for the fashionable college aged female. In-stock you will find the sexiest and most comfortable honey due undergarments in addition to casual everyday wear and elegant evening dresses. They have an attractive footwear collection as well! One of the most appealing aspects of this clothing store are the reasonable prices and occasional bargains. Pangaea carries a lot of the same labels that chain stores like Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie carry; for example, Tulle and Free People. Check them out for a fun boutique experience!

Alexandra did a great job explaining all about the Pangaea Trading Company, but I’d like to add a bit about the store made up of mostly women’s clothing, jewelry, and accessories. I will say that although I didn’t think of it at the time, I think the«hippy» comments are pretty accurate, especially if you taken into account the other Pangaea location in Yellow Springs. Pangaea’s items seemed to be well-priced and relatively inexpensive, at least according to the female friend I was with, although I did see their hats priced as low as $ 12 but as high as 40 bucks. In addition to the already mentioned jewelry, skirts, sarongs, and China flats, Pangaea also has many handbags, tank tops, and sundresses, while I also saw sunglasses, bracelets, and Keen and Dansko footwear. They even have a «Life is Good» t-shirt section. I also noticed a sale of up to 70-percent off of fall and winter styles, although that may have just been a sign left over from the spring. While I won’t be buying anything for myself at this store, I do think that the Pangaea Trading Company is good store and a good fit being right down the road from a university. Like many of the Ludlow Avenue shops, however, finding a parking spot may be the toughest thing.

Pangea is one of my favorite stores in Cincinnati. It has such a cute collection of jewelry, shoes, clothing, and gifts for the new age hippy inside anyone! It is located on Ludlow right in the center of Clifton’s super cute gaslight district. Their clothing is very hippy in style. Lots of flowing skirts, peasant tops, and sarongs. They also supply the cheap china flats that have become very popular lately. I used to wear them for musicals in school. They also have lots of reasonably priced jewelry such as necklaces, earings, rings, nose rings, and tongue rings. The rest of the store is filled with lots of various gift and bath and body items. You can find perfumes, soaps, scarves, hats, and wall decorations. Pangea is locally owned and has two locations, this one in Cincinnati and another in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
