Payless Shoe Source

I haven’t been to a Payless Shoe Store in years. I usually shop at DSW or when I go back home to Georgia, I shop at the Post Exchange on Military Base.
I saw my friends shoes at work and really like the style (Black Closed Toe Wedge) and asked her where she got the shoes (Payless of course). I was shocked because she wore them quite a few times and the style looked so chic. I thought she would have bought them at Macy’s or Target. She regrets not buying two pairs becasue they were so comfortable and cheap.
I decided to drop by and take a browse. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the staff. I wasn’t sure what size to get because my feet are weird (narrow) which I can wear anywhere from a size 7 to 8, depending the make of the shoe. I usually wear a size ⁷⁄₁₂. Right away, I was assisted by a young girl. She was very patient and accomodating. On one of the shoes that I was interested in (they were sliding off and asked for any suggestions), she put a heel liner from preventing my heels from slipping out of the shoe. What great customer service.
I ended up buying a Dexflex Black comfort wedge. I couldn’t believe the price. It was only $ 15.00 on clearance. Size ⁷⁄₁₂ Regular price was $ 26.99. They are so comfortable too!
When the staff rang up my shoe she mention the rewards card which you get extra discounts (online coupons, etc). And it’s free.
When I went home, I finished my registration and received a 20 percent coupon on anything. So I went back again the next day and got the Dexflex comfort Clancey Wedge (color is a beautiful Cognac). I know I was skeptical about this place because back then I didn’t think their shoes were all that great. But over the years, they have improved with the style and comfort.
Payless also sells accessories like purses, wallets, socks, etc. The price is very cheap/​reasonable and shoes are good quality.
Staff is very helpful and kind.
Store is not that big, but has a great selection and organize (arrange by sizes, divided into sections for men, women’s and kids). If they don’t have the shoes in stock, they can check another store for availability.
Plenty of parking.
Definately coming back. This place rocks!
