Pieczonka Unlimited

Pieczonka does a great job of keeping consistent quality with large orders. We order about 100 customized plaques for our annual awards banquet. Names have always been spelled correctly and the wooden backing never shows signs of chips or nicks from shipping. In the event that our guests need duplicates, Pieczonka makes them available for $ 10 a piece; very reasonable for individuals wanting to remember the occasion.
Pieczonka appears to offer other custom services as well, like trophies, t-​shirts, signs, and picture framing. Located at 4^th and Walnut downtown, the street parking is hard to come by (plus it costs $ 2.00/hr at meters). I suggest taking a colleague and doing a «drop-​off and run in» to place an order. We really need better parking options downtown!

Pieczonka Unlimited, or the «Zonk Shop,» is a downtown business offering awards, embroidery, signage, and engraving, among other «custom work.» Pieczonka does engraving on plaques, trophies, crystal and awards, while they also have promotional giveaways, gifts (such as clocks and pens), and art prints. They also do screen printing on t-​shirts, and offer name plates, name badges, banners, and vinyl lettering.
One of the more underrated aspects of Pieczonka is their custom framing. They have many framing options in the store, and with the number of art galleries downtown, perhaps you can purchase some art elsewhere and get it framed at the Zonk Shop with their reasonable prices. As mentioned above Pieczonka does have some of their own art prints, however, so you should be able to find something you like there.
Pieczonka also offers some sports wear (and corporate apparel), with Carhartt Clothing being one of their main brands. They also sell Red Wing Shoes and some boots, among other men’s footwear and apparel.
Overall Pieczonka is a pretty good store when you take into account their wide range of products and services from clothing and embroidery to engraving/​awards and gifts to custom framing. Unfortunately, the store is open just 30 hours each week.
