I love this place. Joe, the owner, is very good to deal with and incredibly fair in his pricing and dealings. The shop is tight due to all the merchandise but they always seem to have what I need. I especially like the number of repair parts for helicopters and cars. I highly recommend the shop.

The best hobby store i ever been too. The shop owner is very friendly and patient. I never actually owned a rc car before. The owner very kindly explained everything to me. It also has a huge inventory, lots of cars, boats, planes to choose from. Definitely a place to go to if you are a noob like me, or an expert who is looking for professional suggestions.

I’m new to hobby shops so know that up front. First of all this store smells like BO. Second the mark up on the rc copter I looked at was 30−40%. Not sure how they plan on competing with Internet? After I asked about one model I was told that one sucks and look at this one. Great costumer service! I’ll stay home and pay 2 day shipping next time.

I’ve lived in Cincinnati my entire life and have been in Kenwood well over a hundred times, yet I never saw the Pit Row Hobby Shop until Monday. If it weren’t for a long traffic light at the Kenwood and Montgomery Roads intersection, I wouldn’t have seen it at all, but the«HOBBIES» sign on the side of the Kenwood Corner center’s store happened to catch my eye this time. Their sign outside says«R/C Cars, Boats and Planes, Models, Rockets and More.» Now when I got home I had to look up «R/C» to find out what it meant, but for anyone who is in to radio control cards – that’s what R/C stands for, by the way – I’d imagine Pit Row to be a favorite store for them. They specialize in not only radio control cars, but also R/C boats and planes, while they have a large selection of plastic car models, and helicopters and rockets too. The store was filled nearly from ground to ceiling with their specialty products, but since I’m not into their merchandise, I was limited to thinking to myself, «This would be a cool store if I liked this stuff.» I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the best place in town for their kind of products. As far as the«more» on their sign, there wasn’t much more that I saw other than the R/C items and the models. I noticed some paint, so I guess you could try to «pimp» your plastic ride, and there were some other parts and accessories too, but that’s about it as far as «more» goes. I was hoping they may have a selection of other hobby items like baseball cards and comic books – even though I don’t even like comic books – but for what did specialize in, I will say they run a nice store. I saw a sign somewhere that proclaimed they offered the«best service,» but as the only customer, you’d think that the only person working at the store might get off his phone call, or at least interrupt to see if I needed help with anything. As I said, I’m not a big fan of their products, but I do think that for anyone that is looking for models and R/C cars, boats, and planes, they should check out Pit Row. They even have an R/C Flight Simulator in the store, which is very cool.
