A nice local butcher shop. There were a couple other customers while I was there. The men behind the counter seemed to know them. Customer service was outstanding. The gentleman that helped me was very nice. When I said I wasn’t ready, he told me to «take my time,» and to «ask if I have any questions.» He also offered my daughter a crunchy pretzel rod while I looked. The meat looked very fresh. Lots of different cuts and preparations to choose from. There were a bunch of side dishes. A cooler on the side had milk, eggs, cheese products, and some frozen items.

This is likely the best butcher in town. The quality of all of it is as good as you can purchase in cincinnati. Buy hamburger from them. Prices are very comparable to Kroger or Walmart but the meat is such a higher quality. It’s hard to believe. If you want burgers just ask them to make you some quarter pounders and they’ll do it for you real quick. All they need is a light seasoning on top and some time on grill or cast iron pan and they are literally the beat burgers you’ve had. Also never buy stew beef or cube steak from anyplace else. This is literally the best, period. The wait is seldom long because they are always staffed well with the nicest guys you’ll find. They are knowledgable to boot. The only thing I’m not crazy about is te sandwich meat. Boarshead is what they have and it issue slightly better than any other bran and cost significantly more. I still have only found good quality roast beef in one place in Cincinnati and that was at a sandwich chain, Jersey Mikes. Because they roast the meat in store. But good roast beef doesn’t exist in cincinnati other than at jersey mikes.

Attended an event that was catered by R&R over the weekend for Thanksgiving. All of the food was provided hot, so that was the draw to choosing this company over others who only cater with cold food(didn’t know that was a thing…). I’ll just do a run down of each item offered: — turkey — dry even though it was serve drowning in gravy, though nicely separated into light and dark meat. — stuffing– served in strange wet stuffing balls? Very weird and covered in gravy, but probably contained the most flavor out of everything — sweet potatoes — this hit an all time low. I love sweet potatoes but these seemed to have been dumped out of a can into a large pan and served lukewarm. No butter, brown sugar, or anything else good about them! — mashed potatoes — definitely from a box and average at best — roll — standard and served cold — cookies — finally! Something that was worthwhile! Very yummy cookies indeed. So all in all, this catering job was awful. This is not the place to choose if you’d like everyone in your party to actually be smiling after they eat!
