Shrimp tacos were great. Portion size was good for lunch. $ 7.99 lunch menu is wonderful. My server Paula was very attentive and took care of my every need. In and out in 30mins.

We go there about once a month with a party of 15, the food is always good, the service is very good, will be back soon.

If I could give this red lobster negative stars, I would. The lady that seats you is an absolutely terrible person. Lazy and rude, they wouldn’t give our five person party more than a four person booth despite the numerous larger tables open everywhere. They clearly didn’t want to spend an extra five minutes cleaning, and it’s not like we were there just before close either. The workers here will never amount to anything in their lives as they are not willing to put any effort into anything.

Lobster Fest is back! I’m typically not a fan if chain restaurants but let me tell you, after seeing their super enticing Lobster Fest commercials, I knew I needed to get to Red Lobster soon. Not too long after, I was hanging out with my parents one Saturday, who had plans to go to Red Lobster. Recalling prior dining experiences with my family on a Saturday there, I was a bit apprehensive. I really wasn’t in the mood for a long wait nor did I feel like standing in the ridiculously small waiting area. After a little bit of arm twisting, I decided to tag along. We arrived about 4pm or so and as expected there was a ridiculous amount of people crammed in the waiting area. Side note: This location has been around for years and could really use some updating, especially to the waiting area. It really needs to be much larger to accommodate their customers. Large crowds, especially on weekends, is pretty much the norm here. Surprisingly, after our 30 min. wait, we were seated(we were originally told our wait would be at least 1 hours). Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. What I appreciated about him was that he wasn’t too friendly but did just enough to make us feel comfortable; which was great! By the time our food and drinks arrived, we had completely forgotten about the chaos the waiting area. Our food was delicious and I was happy to finally be enjoying my lobster tail. The one critique that I have about my meal was the side salad that came with it. In my experience, RL has always been pretty notorious for bad salads. It’s like they use the worse part of the lettuce to make these salads. The bagged salads at Kroger have better lettuce than these. Overall, RL gets a solid three stars from me for a quicker wait time than expected, good service and good food.

Nice meal good service and very friendly, we were originally told an hour wait it ended up being 30 minutes. My trio shrimp was hot tasty and fresh the cheddar bay biscuits were superb, my only complaint was my salad it was very limp and not tasty. It was a great pick for a Saturday dinner.

I have not been here in a decade because I do not like seafood. But I just went there recently for a family bday dinner. I love their cheddar bay biscuits! They are so light and fluffy, and cheesy, which is great because I love cheese. I had a salad which was fine, the usual with blue cheese dressing. Everything on their menu is surrounding seafood. But they do have hamburgers, steak, chicken, and pasta. I got the chicken alfredo which was delicious. It was prepared well and and hot straight from the kitchen. The service was okay but it was lunch time. For a non seafood lover, I was pleasantly surprised.

Red Lobster! Need I say more… The seafood is amazing for a chain. The service was okay during this visit. The bar drinks are really good. I would recommend the Coconut shrimp, but the sides were not all that great.

Was with a party from church for lunch today. Not enough servers for our group, and it took forever for us to get our orders in and then to get our food. My server told me I could substitute some items, but left off mentioning the rather large surcharge that came with the substitutions. I like Red Lobster, so I may well be back in a few months or years!

Yeah, it’s a chain. You go to Red Lobster for seafood for the same reasons you go to The Outback to get a steak. A decent grade meal at a fair price. Red Lobster has done a decent job of juggling their menu around, and they have hit the homerun on a few of the more recent additions. The grilled options are awesome. We hit the Colerain location for dinner this past Saturday. We’ve eaten there regularly for years, but I wanted to have a fresh dinner before I reviewed it. The wait was reasonable considering that it was Saturday in the midst of Christmas shopping insanity. I figured that the place would be overrun with hungry shoppers from the mall, but times were running 20 – 30 minutes. For appetizers, we ordered a New England sampler… it seemed a little bit skimpy on portion sizes than in the past. Must be the economy. They’re serving tartar sauce with fried crab and bacon wrapped scallops now? No seafood sauce, had to ask. Both of those were good though. The stuffed mushrooms were a bit on the small side, and there were certainly fewer of them. The Mrs. ordered a couple crab cakes, which were full of lump crab meat, but were very dry overall. Extremely dry, requiring copious amounts of remoulade sauce. Salads were standard fare… decent caeser salad but I am a complete stickler for salads. If it isn’t cold and crisp, I am annoyed. The plates were lukewarm, and so was the salad and dressing. Room temp salad is my pet peeve. So no marks there. I did a wood fired grilled platter with shrimp, scallops, and a lobster tail with broccoli and some rice pilaf. The broccoli was overdone, period. Not even a bit of crisp zing to it. It was well on the way to being an ingredient in some broccoli & cheese soup or a topper for a baked potato, but as a standalone side. MEH! Otherwise, the shellfish was good. Shrimp not overdone, scallops were tasty, and the lobster on the grill… well it’s pretty hard to screw that up. But the screw up came when I ordered a separate, whole steamed lobster to boot. Yeah… I was hungry. Wanna’ make something of it? I should have known there was trouble when the waiter asked me if I wanted it grilled or broiled. I said, «huh? well however it comes», never had a grilled whole lobster before. Well it came… as a grilled tail. ARGH! It wouldn’t have been so much of a problem except that #1 I ordered a whole lobster because I wanted claw meat as well and #2 we have two little ones(very little) and we have a specific amount of time that they are good for dinner… after that we start running into boredom/attention span issues. They’re awesome for being 2 and 1… we’re usually good for an hour to an hour and a half. The waiter assured me that they could get another one split and out quick. Fine. Do it. And indeed, they did a pretty good job of making it happen. The best part about eating a whole lobster in the midwest is the strange looks you get from people when you’re crunching away at the cartilage on the tops of the legs to get the body meat. Even the manager stopped by and commented that I must be a professional lobster eater because he doesn’t get very many people ordering a whole lobster. HUH? mmmkay… well it IS Cincinnati anyway… As for the dude staring at me the entire time in sheer horror a couple tables away… hey bro, live a little. Try something new for a change. So we ended up getting comped for dessert for the screw up, which made my wife happy because she thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate chip lava cake ice cream thingie. All in all, it was a decent time and the meal is good for the money. I am a hard grader and can’t really give a chain too many props in general, which averages the score out to 3 stars, but I’ll indeed go there again when I don’t feel like waiting 3 hours for a table at Pappadeaux.
