Food was very good, service could have been more on point. This place was packed, waiting inside and outside for at least an hour. This is probably the best Red Lobster in the Cincinnati area. I have been to a couple of the others and this is by far is the best, that’s why it is always so busy…

Service exceeded my chain expectations. I won’t bore you with the critique of the food — it was as good as expected. Hey, it’s Dead lobster, as my daughter loves to call it, you get descent food at reasonable prices. But the service was the best I’ve had in quite some time. I don’t know our server from Adam, but our server, Adam, was fantastic! He was obviously busy when we were seated, but acknowledged us right away. We had drinks from the bar already so he gave us a quick«I’ll be right with you» while passing by with an armload of plates on his way to the kitchen. Upon his return he was ready to give us the corporate 1st approach script, but noticed our menus stacked at the end of our table and correctly realized we had already decided on our entrees, and acted accordingly. He made an appropriate joke to my 9yr old son about his order, offered me a refill on my margarita, and brought water and biscuts without being asked. After our food was delivered he checked back after a couple bites, and then made a point to make eye contact throughout the meal in case we needed anything without interrupting our conversation(an overlooked skill these days). Pre-bussing, refills, etc. were all spot on. Chain service is usually slightly above average, but somewhat sterile. This guy was well above that, and I thought it worthy of some recognition. Too often good service goes without notice, rather bad service is all managers hear, which is why I made a point to seek out the manager on duty and let her know how much we enjoyed our experience. So if you find yourself in the Cincinnati Mills area at dinner time, I suggest Adam’s section at Dead Lobster.

After waiting 20 minutes to get seated just a party at 3 at 7:15 on a Tuesday, when does sing people get passed over for the tooth out till when two were available… It’s not looking so good. Our server, Zach, was anticipating our needs from the start. He was up to the task of keeping drinks biscuits and even endless shrimp coming for 3 people. The kitchen messed up and gave us the wrong side item, and Zack was quick to give us a replacement. Overall one of the most positive experiences I’ve had with Red Lobster

I truly have to say this Red Lobster in the system is horrible. We have now gone to this restaurant twice. We were trying to give it the benefit of doubt. The facility it self was dirty and some what worn down. The wait staff was very forgetful of order’s as well. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. As we looked over the place their was a ton of seating available. This tells me that the place was obviously under staffed for a sunday evening rush. As we were waiting the hostess was telling every single person walking in it would be 30 minutes. This did not change for 20 mins as we sat and waited. We finally were seated and our waiter was not very freindly and at times seemed very distant. I could go on and on, but I will not. Avoid this Red Lobster at all cost! #notgoingback

Con(s) from today’s visit: 50 minute wait to seat a 9 top on a clearly slow Wednesday evening. This restaurant should be able to hold more than two parties at a time. Pro(s): to make up for our extremely long unnecessary wait. Without my party complaining at all, the manager came and offered us two appetizers for being patient. From there on out, the meal was smooth and delicious. Everything came out just as everyone had ordered and hoped it would be. They treated us like guests rather than customers, just as it should be done, especially in a finer dining restaurant. I recommend coming here and enjoying the staff’s presence.

My wife and I had a terrible experience at this Red Lobster tonight. I arrived before my wife at approx. 5:15pm. The waiting area was very full. I would guess 15 – 20 people waiting in 5 – 6 groups. At the podium was a teenage male with 2 very large diamond earrings. It was clear he was not happy to be there and he had no interest in serving customers. I listened to his interaction with the couple in front of me. He said it was a 5-minute wait and handed them a pager. When I walked up and asked for a table for 2, he looked down and said, «It will be like 15 – 20 minutes» and walked away. I stood there for a minute then walked around the restaurant. It was 75% empty. I walked back up to him to ask why it was such a long wait for me and why I was not given a pager since he didn’t even look at me to know who I was. He initially avoided me and started to walk away. I stopped him and asked my questions. His response was I didn’t need a pager, and then he smiled then started to walk away. I stopped him again to say, «You obviously don’t want to help me so can I have the manager?» He said«sure» and walked away. I walked up front to hear him tell another couple who didn’t like the wait time that they could sit at the bar. So I walked over to sit at a table at the bar. He then came back over to me and told me rudely I couldn’t sit there. I could only sit at the bar. By this point I was not happy and he knew it. The manager came over to me a few minutes, clearly irritated that I disturbed her. She was elderly with dark hair. I explained the situation to her regarding my experience. She had no interest in my treatment from the greeter. She interrupted me mid sentence to say that she would offer me a pager and get me back in line«where I was before I called her out». Again she was clearly irritated and didn’t care in the least. I wanted you to be aware of this experience and how poorly your location ran this evening. This is not uncommon for this location. I work right down the street and try to avoid this location when possible. I was meeting my wife before she went to work. Needless to say we went to a different restaurant. I will not be returning to this location, as it is a poor reflection of the brand.

The service and attention to customers more than made up for the slight seasoning disagreement my taste buds had with the meal. Ryan the manager and Mecerdes the server provided us superior accommodating customer service and have insured our return visit!

Adaquate food and service. Lobster feast for two with two glasses of wine and free starter cost $ 90.00. Not fast food prices but little better than fast food quality.

We visited this location for lunch yesterday. Everything was pretty average, from food to service. Maybe I have not been to Red Lobster in a while, but I was pretty surprised by how high priced certain things on the menu were. I am glad we went for lunch, because I really don’t think I would have been willing to pay the super high prices for dinner. You can get an appetizer and eat for two for around $ 30-$ 35 for lunch, which is reasonable, but I noticed that most of the dinner meals run about $ 15+ a person. The food was okay, but wasn’t as flavorful, as other times I have been to Red Lobster. Though our server was fast and efficient, there was something very strange about him, and he just seemed fake. He really didn’t do anything wrong, but he was just in our faces a bit too much.

I’ve came here for lunch. Staff was nice but the food was just average. I had stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were too cheesy. I love cheese but in this case I could barely taste the mushrooms or seafood stuffing. Crab legs were also average. My friends had fish an chips and fresh tilapia. That looked much better than my meal. Biscuits were very tasty, but a little salty.

My son and I enjoy lunch together on my day off and we have gone to the Red Lobster in Forest Park two weeks in a row. Service and food have been excellent. The facility is fresh and clean. I would recommend it highly.

I was in town for a business trip and very soon realized that there was not much by the hotel I was staying at. We saw a red lobster within walking distance and thought we’d give it a shot. I really don’t expect much from red lobster, I hadn’t gone to one in years, but the bread was amazing, I’m pretty sure I powered through 2 or 3 baskets but the entre was mediocre, I got the 4 course deal, the habanero and citrus shrimp were pretty bland and had a weird texture. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was awesome and the key lime pie was so delicious! We also received outstanding service from a waiter named Dylan

My son had never been to a Red Lobster, and on a recent trip to the Cincinnati area we stopped at this location. Nothing has changed, if only they could make the food look like it does on the TV commercials. Overpriced and over rated.

Was given 75 $ in gift cards for Darden Restaurants and selected this site. Both my wife and I had the Salmon New Orleans off the«Daily Offerings» menu at $ 17 each, along with a Shrimp Bruschetta appetizer. Both were good, and the salad with house red wine vinaigrette was superior. Our service was very good. Our waiter was Dirk and he was very friendly and mindful without being overbearing. We were both glad we made the choice and we’ll gladly return…

Red Lobster is the only chain restaurant I am satisfied with. The food is always fresh, hot and pricing is reasonable. I always get the pick two for $ 15.99. I like their Wood Grilled Salmon with Walt’s friend Shrimp. You can’t go wrong with the Biscuits. They are always delicious and hot. Service was great at this location. Server was helpful, kind and quick.

Come early to avoid the crowd on a Friday night. I got here at 6 and still had to wait 30 minutes for a table! The thing about chain restaurants which is nice is that you always know what to expect. Yes, they occasionally change around a few items on the menu, but Red Lobster is a known staple for decent, reasonably-priced seafood. My favorite part of the dining experience is the cheddar baked biscuits. My family and I go through, on average, at least 3 baskets each time we come here. I also like that each entrée comes with a salad. The things that I like best from the menu are the shrimp and scallop pasta, the broiled seafood platter, and anything that comes with crab legs. I’ve ordered a dish that includes their lobster tail before, but I won’t order it again because it tasted way too salty. The best deals are when they are running the«Endless Shrimp» promo. My dad and I practically make money when we come for endless shrimp because we eat so much. For around $ 16, you can eat as much scampi, skewers, shrimp pasta, and other delicious shrimp dishes as you can. They also now have $ 154-course meals on their menu as an apparently permanent offering. Not all of these dishes include seafood, but I do love the shrimp and scallop pasta 4-course meal. All of these meals come with a choice of soup, salad, entrée, and dessert. It’s hard to find good seafood in the Midwest. While Red Lobster isn’t always the best quality or necessarily the freshest, it does taste pretty good. And for the price, I think it’s one of the best values in our area.

I have to eat out alone often and was craving lobster. So of course I head here. Sadly there’s nowhere(but perhaps the bar) where I felt comfortable sitting alone. It was like everyone was looking at me in my booth all by my lonesome. That and every waiter in the joint constantly walked by my booth on their way to and from their station. Got annoying really. I would like to just enjoy my meal without distractions.

While this location serves great seafood like all the others in the chain, the difference here is the amount of seating. There is ALWAYS a wait at this location since it is such a small place. I came on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait 20 minutes. On several previous occasions, I have had to eat elsewhere as it is not uncommon to have upwards of 90 minute wait times if you arrive at dinner time. In fact, I was able to drive over to the Colerain location, wait for 15 minutes, be seated and have my order taken before I would’ve ever been called to be seated here on one prior attempt to eat here. If you are able to wait and be seated, the food and service is quite good.
