Tim at Ridge Transmission was top notch! I had heard through the grapevine that this was the place to go, so I brought him my 66 Ford Mustang coupe with a ruined transmission. He gave me a decent quote to replace it straight up with another 66 3-​speed. I decided to push the limits and asked him to put a 67 transmission in it since 67 was fully synchronized and it would be a lot easier to drive. It took him a couple of weeks but he got it finished. I thought this time frame was more than reasonable considering this car is near 50 years old and he had to literally look around the country for the parts to make this happen.
Tim is thorough and cares about the work coming out of his shop — that is very clear. He runs a business and is about cultivating good relationships with his customers… Ridge doesn’t need catchy slogans like Double A (Beep Beep) M.C.O. because their work is the best in Cincinnati. They’ve been in business for a long time and there is a reason for that.
