I’ve driven by this place a dozen times and I wasn’t even sure it was still in business. It’s definitely a throwback– cash only, paper scoresheets, no bumper lanes– but that adds to the charm of this place. We went in the middle of the day and I got the feeling that they don’t get too many random outsiders coming in(probably much more of a league and regulars crowd). The service was polite, but I have to say that I was a little surprised at the cost. For how barebones everything is, I’d say it’s on the higher side when it comes to cost. Still a fun experience though.

You know, for someone who associates bowling with old people and girl scout outings, I really gotta say that this place is pretty neat. The outside looks like a stable. I never knew what this was, passing by a few times, I always thought it was a place where you groom horses or something(never gave it much though), but when I came here for a team outing, I was pleasantly surprised! Having gone to my fair share of brunswick bowling with flashy lights, mod scoring machines, and rad cosmic bowling, that was all I knew. I never even thought there was anything else. Stepping into Ringo Lanes was like stepping back about 20~30 years in time(I don’t know…), if not 40 or more. The lanes are in great condition, the bowling ball return machines can catch a little, and there are no fancy score keeping jigs. It’s all an overhead projector and you keep score on transparencies. I thought I was done with those in Elementary school! But it was actually quite a neat experience. The owners are super nice, the shoes and balls are in good condition, and everything works. There were at least 15 – 20 lanes, if not more, and you could tell this is one of those places that has«regulars». I didn’t purchase any food or drinks there and seemed like they only sold drinks and maybe a few snacks. I don’t know the prices for games, but don’t really expect it to be that expensive. They gave us a table for us to bring our own snacks, so know that it’s allowed :) All in all, it’s definitely an interesting experience and honestly, I think I like it more than the fancy shmancy bowling places with their special effects, strobe lights, and kitschy animations when you lose, hit a spare, or a strike. At least you’ll learn how scoring actually works!

It’s a no frills bowling lane that is well kept and clean. I’m knocking it down a few levels simply because they offer no food and they don’t even take credit cards. It’s 2013 — please allow me to pay with a credit card. This is very cumbersome.

If you want to have an informal get together to eat and bowl then this is your place. It is nothing fancy at all, but it is clean and overall nice. The bowling alley is in great condition and the owner is as nice as they come. I do believe that he owns it with his wife and they are both very very nice. When you want an event there they try to give you the best that they can. In the banquet part it is a little dated, but everything is free of rips and tears and is in great condition. So like I said if you want to have an informal event such as a birthday party or a girls night out then this is the place to consider.
