Robin Imaging practices bad business. They make mistakes and ask then customer to pay for those mistakes. I had worked with Robin for years before asking them to mount a very large photograph for an exhibition. They mounted the image on faulty board and then called me to replace the picture. This was a very large, custom photograph that cost $ 500 to print each and every time. The lab made the mistake and they simply assumed I’d pay for it. After push back from me, the owner, Bill Johnson, very reluctantly agreed to pay a small portion of the reprint. I then asked if he would cover the cost of shipping the print from Los Angeles to Cincinnati, as I had shipped the first print. He declined. For the nominal price of shipping a picture he chose to lose my business. In the process, he also caused other small vendors in Cincinnati to lose work-I will no longer work with a beloved framer as he is beholden to Robin, the only game in town. This is not a company to do business with because they do not stand by their work. In fact, they ruin the work and then ask you to pay so they can try again. In any other(larger) city, this place would have gone out of business long ago.
