If you want a nice casual night out with a quality beer selection this is your place. The draft selection is quality and the bottles super diverse. Owner is there most nights but regardless rhe staff is super friendly. Don’t resist trying it because it has Shady’s in the name… that is all part of the charm.

For months I’ve driven by Shady O’Grady’s wondering what I would find on the inside. I finally got a chance to check the place out over a St. Patricks Day weekend. Green beers were only $ 2 and we drank them(responsibly) until there was no more in the building. They had live music that made the environment awesome. The stage is placed in a good spot that is visable from every seat in the bar. We spent the last few hours of our stay just talking to and getting to know the owner. He was very kind and enjoyed showing us all the various beers offered at the bar. We capped off the night with some darts. They also have a pool table and a bar touch-screen game machine for other entertainment. If I was Superman, I’d reverse the earth’s rotation to save Lois Lane(always save the girl) and to stop by Shady O’Grady’s much earlier than March 16, 2013!

Dive, dive, dive. Go lower, I dare you. This place is about beer. Lots of choices, and nice and cold. Other than a pool table and chips, there is nothing else. This is a dive, but it is the best dive bar in Cincinnati. You go here to get beer, drunk and to talk to other similarly oriented. Love it, hell I want to go now after writing about it.

This is where I come when I am in the mood to go to dive bar. And by dive bar I mean dive bar. I always have a good time at Shady’s they always have some sort of band playing there and the prices are pretty good. They have a pool table and they have a lot of seating area and a small place to dance. Okay so I know that Shady’s is a bar but the bathrooms are terrible! They have these posters on the wall showing I think Bud light for like $ 2 or something but when I went to the bar to ask about it they said that they don’t even carry that beer! Shadyyyy! Over all I really do like this place they have a nice outside area.

It is absolutely BAFFLING, that I am the first one to review this gem. I come to Cincinnati twice a year and I always hit up the Shady. A little bar in the middle of the stix… or in the middle of a neighborhood near Loveland. I mean, where else can you get a PBR(or gin and tonic) and listen to a Vietnamese woman(who brought the house down no less) sing«Wind of Change» by Scorpion. The karaōke is amazeballs, that’s all I have to say… Just to name some of the songs that were sung… Hero, Strawberry wine, Lady Marmalade, Bohemian Rhapsody, Livin La Vida Loca(also sung by little Vietnamese woman), Somewhere over the rainbow(lovely duet by a couple) and of course… Larger than Life, by the Backstreet Boys. The clientele is great. Bikers, yuppies, hippies, old folks and people just out to have a great easy going time. Pool tables in the back and a guy walking around handing out lollipops and candy. CANDY! Everyone gets along and no matter what your poison is, your accepted. Period. It’s a dive. It’s fabulous. You need to go. Immediately. Oh, then hit up Skyline, that’s what I do. A++ Best. Night.
