I highly recommend! As a member I look forward to each visit as its incredibly relaxing. My personal favorites are Melissa in massage therapy– she is very good and hilarious! Stacy is my fave for facials… She has recommended products that have completely changed my skin! Each time I leave I feel so refreshed. Julie, the owner is incredibly accommodating and so friendly :)

I came here for a 60 min signature massage with my wife who’s has the membership package. Because of this, my massage ends up being $ 39 which is great value at any place in Cincinnati. They customize the massage for you based on background music, where you’d like to be massaged and how much pressure that you’d like. The facility is clean and has locker rooms for you to change/​shower in. They also have a room for men/​women to relax in where you can drink tea or drink a book/​magazine.
The massage was very thorough and went to all of the muscles that I told them were sore so I was quite happy with the massage and will probably come back someday.

I went to Spavia because I read the reviews here and spoke with one of the owners (Julie) on the phone, I felt like it was a respectable place so I tried it out with a groupon.
The facility is clean and they give you sandals and a robe to wear, 5 stars for this part.
I had a sports massage with Anna, she seemed nice enough, awkward and possibly new to massage, she used way too much pressure (I prefer firm pressure and noted that on my form) and the reason this became a problem was she did not check to see if the pressure was too much.
Initially I enjoyed the pressure level, but as the massage was 60 minutes and she only massaged my lower back it became too much. If the pressure had been spread out around my entire back and legs I believe it would have been fine, but it was very concentrated and ended up bruising my entire low back and butt. I was in pain for the next 8 days. I kept hoping it might go away (this was over the Christmas holiday) I took 3 Advil every few hours for 4 days because I was in so much pain.
I called to speak with Tom or Julie (the owners) hoping to explain what happened and see about a refund or a relaxing massage but they avoided me and called back after 8pm. After 3 different attempts to call and speak with one of them I gave up and decided this is the best form of feedback.
I would NOT recommend coming here!

I had a fabulous experience at Spavia today. I had an 80 minute massage and it may be the best massage I have ever had. The massage therapist, Asenath, really took the time to work on the areas that were sore after all of the holiday stress. It was so relaxing to be able to sit in the retreat room bit before and after my service. Great selection of tea and a nice warm neck wrap. Can not say enough about how good my experience was. Great price point too! Can’t wait to go back next month for a facial.

I visited this beautiful facility during an open house. The place is gorgeous. The tones are earthy and dim, just the right tone for relaxing. The staff is so friendly and down to earth. The techniques are different than any other massages I’ve gone to. I felt so very relaxed. They also have a skin assessment person that helped me determine what type of facial treatment I would need. They offer lockers, changing rooms, a relaxation room that has heated neck wraps tea and coffee. I like the setup it’s beautiful. The masseuse I had was a thicker African American woman she applied a great amount of pressure and she was funny too. I really enjoyed her technique. The facials even include a hand massage. They have a few different kinds of hand massages. They also sell these cute little bath bombs that look like a lovely cupcake. This place was great, I can’t wait to go again.

Lovely facility. This place is brand new and everything is top notch. The space is huge and well appointed. There are nice lockers to put your stuff, complete with jewelry boxes. My masseuse was very good as well. She was tiny, but quite powerful! I was worried that they would try to push their monthly membership on me, but they never even mentioned it. They weren’t very busy, I never heard or saw another client in the hour and a half I was there. I hope they are successful, it’s a nice place to escape for a bit.

It’s been 24 hours since I stepped into Spavia and I’m still a little amazed at how amazing of an experience i had. I will admit that I was skeptical of a strip mall «spa» and booked my 80 minute massage because of the $ 40 off coupon I received in the mail. With their amazing service, they will defiantly make that $$ back with repeat business.
When I walked in, the receptionist was expecting me and greeted me by name which set the tone for my whole experience. She showed me their 5 scented lotion options and suggested the white gingerlily. After filling out my form and choosing my preference of pressure and music she showed me to their locker room. I had expected to just go back to my room and wait for my MT so this is where Spavia really won me over. They had a locker for me to store all of my belongings during my service in a space that really embraced the feeling of a high end spa. Connected to the locker room was a dimly lit waiting area with warm neck wraps, water and tea. (I highly recommend getting there a few minutes early to take advantage of this wonderful space.)
By the time I got back to my massage room I was already impressed and Connie made sure to raise that bar even higher. She managed to customize my massage to work through a knot in my shoulder without skimping on any other area. She was friendly without being too talkative.
This was easily one of the best massages I’ve had in this city and I can’t wait to go back!
