St. Aloysius Chapel

I recently photographed a wedding here and loved this venue! There’s a field out back which is perfect for photos this time of year and really easy to access. The staff were all very accommodating and nice to work with. The getting ready room was simple, but we moved into the hallway for better light and more space :) I love the stained glass in the chapel and the beautiful ceilings!

I had my wedding here on August 9, 2014. Absolutely beautiful chapel. The coordinator, Debbie is such a pleasure to work with. They provide a room for bride and groom to get ready in and have several spots for pictures. Big perk is you don’t have to decorate as it is all provided for you. My only complaint about the venue was the timing. My time block was 12 – 3:30 however the bride that was scheduled at 4:00 arrived at 3:00 so the chapel coordinator that was there in place of Debbie rushed me out at 3:10 causing my pictures to be cut short. I didn’t realize our time was cut short until I was in the car on the way to my reception. This is my only complaint about the chapel. I have since received an appreciated very apologetic call from the chapel regarding my time. I have NO doubts that the timing will be an issue for future brides. This is a great place to get married and I would recommend to future brides.

Came here for a friend’s wedding a few weekends ago. My one friend got lost via gps because it thought the address was at the old movie theatre site. The chapel has plenty of ample parking and as the website says — «Constructed in 1923, the gorgeous stone chapel can accommodate up to 320 guests comfortably, welcomes ceremonies of any or no faith, and is fully heated and air-​conditioned. Beautiful stained glass windows, a golden peaked altar and original wooden pews are just a few of the features that make St. Al’s so very warm and welcoming.»
My friend that got married is not religious and thus decided to get married here plus the pastor didn’t have them go to counseling classes.
The thing that could have been improved would have been giving the pastor a microphone I was sitting towards the back and really couldn’t hear him.
