My great aunt (67 years young!) got married last year at St. Peter & Paul Church in Reading.
She had been previously married in the church (she was widowed) and knew that it was the only place that she could have her second ceremony, as she had been attending St. Peter & Paul since she was a kid. Lois (my aunt) told me that Father Leshney, the priest that performed her marriage, could not have been more understanding of her situation.
I had been to a number of baptisms at St. Peter & Paul as one whole section of my family attends the church but this was the first wedding that I can remember being at. It was beautiful and the ceremony was moving.
St. Peter & Paul is a historic landmark in Reading, the church has been around for decades. It’s old fashioned but stunning, in no way has the church been ruined by time.
Like many Catholic parishes in Cincinnati, Peter & Paul has an affiliated grade school that goes by the same name.
