This is an overall great place for a variety of reasons. The food bank portion of SVDP provides food to people in need, including people with large families. A group of people I work with volunteered at the food bank for a couple hours, and we all really enjoyed the experience. We are already planning to go back and volunteer again!

Lexington, KY
We contacted the Northern Kentucky unit of this society to pick up some good condition furniture that we no longer needed and wanted to donate. The process was very easy and pleasant. We were able to choose the date for pick-​up and the drivers both called ahead and provided us with a tax-​deductible receipt.
