I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The lady working the laminator was very nice and helpful. She gave me an estimated time for pick up which was about 20 minutes. I walked around the store getting other things while I was waiting. Every time I passed an employee,(at least 6 of them) they stopped what they were doing, asked me how I was, and asked if they could help me find anything. I was done shopping a couple minutes early so I went back to the place where they were laminating my paper and they had my stuff waiting for me. The guy at the check out was also very nice. When I got into my car I called the store manager to compliment them on what great workers they had! I would definitely recommend the Colerain Staples!

As a former employee I can attest to the deceitful and dishonest sales techniques utilized by this location. For starters it is not«Customers come first» at this location. Profits certainly matter more. A technique known as «Building the basket» is utilized in order to sell more items that a customer might need, this is typical BUT they knowingly talk customers into purchasing items they know won’t even benefit them. Case in point a manager told me how she had worked in the technology department and a particular gentleman complained about purchasing the wrong item 3 times. And what was her solution? To sell him the incorrect item just to get a sale because she knew he would pay for it. How about listening to the customers needs? Second of all, if you don’t spend enough money in the Copy Center, be prepared to do the work yourself or wait hours for it to be completed even if the associates are not busy. We were told to tell customers to do it themselves or they have to come back in a hour even for a small job(Ex, one copy or laminating a few items) which led to customer frustration considering the majority of customers do not know how to use the machines and don’t carry credit cards(The machines only accept credit/debit cards or staples cash cards) Sometimes we would have to load a mere .11 cents on a card just for a copy because it wasn’t significant enough for us to do. Third, Staples sells great brands no doubt but at this particular location I had purchased 3 tablets(During black Friday) and each one came with it’s own defect. I had purchased protection plans for these items and it took over a month to process it and receive my money back. As an employee I can say that working their wasn’t all that bad until they had got rid of my General Manager and replaced him with another one and promoted a few people to managers. I can say that I experienced harassment from a manager here. Kathleen Munson had the nerve to talk about and bring my personal life up to the other associates/managers when it had nothing to do with the job. She also alleged that I was abusing drugs in the workplace(Which I wasn’t and the company never tested me or even followed up with it) to try and discredit me. I wish I would have had a better experience as a customer/employee. I would not reccomend this l
