I used to live near this store, and I think I shopped there twice. Basic selections of beer, unless you like Natural Light, Busch, or Budweiser. The prices were expensive compared to Kroger or even a gas station, but they cater to the apartments near-by, and many of them are section 8 and probably don’t drive. So it’s either walk a mile each direction to Kroger and your beer’s warm by the time you get home, or pay the piper(Sutton Pony Keg) and go «local». kind of a shame, but it happens everywhere there is a population of people that are isolated from decent stores because they aren’t as mobile. OTR, prime example.

The Sutton Pony Keg is your average neighborhood convenience store. It’s not anything special or unique, just simply what it is. The establishment offers the usual beers, mostly major brands, a few wines and wine coolers. They sell most brands of cigarettes if any of ya’ll still smoke. They also carry candy, snacks, and random convenience store needs such as first aid and health supplies. You can also find your favorite flavor of blunt wraps. There is one unique thing about this store, but some might argue it’s not unique. At one point they were selling t-shirts and other fashion accessories. I thought it was so out of place but yet somewhat interesting! Go check it out!
