T.G.I. Friday’s

Walked in at 7 pm, door opened for us and we were greeted, and seated immediately. Server was very nice, and informed she was new after we asked a couple questions about drinks. Drinks took a few minutes to reach us because she had to ask a few questions. I would rather her ask than give us false information. We also ordered a jalapeño appetizer, and after not seeing it for a few minutes, asked her about them. She said she hit cancel instead of send, and that they would be right out and would not appear on our bill. Our wings arrived shortly thereafter, and our poppers appeared and were delicious!!! The food as all very good, and our server was attentive. All in all a decent visit to a place I hadn’t been in 10 years.

I have been going here for over 10 years. Will be closing soon as they redo the Anderson town center. The last date I heard was end of 2015. The food is pretty good. Not as good as it used to be. Portions are smaller. That is consistent with the rest of the chain. The prices are reasonable and you do know what you are getting which I like. A Jack Daniels Chicken sandwich is pretty much the same at any of the restaurants. Service here is usually good but I have had some horrible servers here. It is annoying that with the Fridays Stripes program you can use your points for a Ribs Dinner but not a Jack Daniels Ribs Dinner. The cost is about a dollar different. I would even give the dollar.
Carryout portions/​quality sometimes lacks what you get in the store. They have even forgot the sour cream with my potato skins. I do not recommend the burgers unless you like well-​done burgers. You can’t get it any other way. Too many other burger options around from Flipdaddy;s to Arthurs to Anderson Pub. I haven’t been to Victory Sports Bar but I am sure you can get them there. I won’t recommend Smashburger or Applebees.

This Friday’s is pretty good most of the time, but called tonight at 10:30pm to place a take out order and was told «we’re closing soon». Ended up with carry out from Applebee’s instead.

I used to love Friday’s, the last couple of times it has been less than a good experience. Every few months I give it a try hoping it has gotten back to its roots.
Unfortunately it has not.
A Caesar salad is not a vinaigrette for one, that isn’t a big deal. I really craved French onion soup and what I got was burned. I’ll try to attach the picture. Accordingly it was not good.
I tried the «Sizzling chicken and spinach» not only was it rather small but it was way over salted.
I won’t be returning to Fridays anytime soon.

Overpriced, overrated food and drinks. Only gets a second star because the staff is nice. It’s pretty much a given that the location is going to close to make room for a better development, but the workers are dedicated enough to not check out and give in to apathy.

So this is our neighborhood TGI Fridays. Not the greatest but not that bad either. It’s just nice to go somewhere close by to have a drink and an appetizer and not break a bank. Currently, they have pretty good boneless wings. They only have a couple of sauces but they are good; garlic parmesan and buffalo is what we get and it’s pretty much a dinner for us. During happy hour, their apps are half off so we can easily munch on a bunch of food and have a good drink for under $ 30.
Staff has always been friendly to us. We typically sit at the bar and have random conversations with the bartender.
I am not sure if every time we go is during the off times but the place has never really been packed.
Their menu is overwhelming though. Too many things to choose from so we typically just ask what’s on special and don’t even bother with the menu.

Stopped there just Now for lunch with My son visiting from San Diego about 2:00pm waited 15 mns for server. When informed the host still another 5mns no show. Gotup & left. Went around-​the corner to Unos Got served within minutes.
