BUYERBEWARE I have always enjoyed shopping at TJ Maxx and was really excited about being able to shop TJ Maxx online, but BUYERBEWARE! When trying to return items from an online purchase the local store could not process the return. I was told to return via mail. In doing so I was refunded without tax, and was not even credited the full amount due. Now they claim the could not find one of the items returned. Basically due to their inability to track items, I am now out $ 60. Awful customer service. Very disappointed T.J. Maxx.

Love this location! They carry some high end brands that others do not. I especially love to check out their clearance section in the bath/hair/makeup/fragrance section!

Remember to use cash! T J Maxx has had a couple of problems with their credit card database being hacked. I’d had a card changed at least once. T J Maxx feels better than Ross or Marshalls and while it doesn’t quite have a dignified air, shopping for scraps(oops, bargains!) can be fruitful. They’ve become better over the whole chain but I found this one to be inconsistent in its offerings, feeling more like Goodwill than a liquidation store. Maybe, that’s just success, and they’ve sold more. It’s just difficult to believe I didn’t find anything interesting at all.

I never thought I liked TJ Maxx, but a Unilocal review convinced me to give this location a try. I loved it. I couldn’t even get into the clothing area because there was so much great stuff int he accessories that I had to call it quits before I got there. I bought several great pairs of shoes(including some Madden Girl beauties that I’m wearing right now.) I got two great pairs of sunglasses: black ones by Coach and a pair of brown turtle-shell framed ones by Michael Kors just days after seeing the turtle-shell framed sunglasses trend in a magazine and deciding to keep an eye out for a pair.

This TJ Maxx is the premium location in the city. They carry brands like: Theory, BCBG, Gucci, Armani, Valentino, Frye, Michael Kors to name a few. Also, they have a decent amount of designer denim(Seven, Joe’s Jeans, Paige) around 50% off retail. Last week, I found a really nice Armani belt for $ 45 originally $ 225. Yay! I usually find at least one good thing when I am there.
