Beer cheese is awful — like it’s scooped out of a tub, has no flavor. Overall, basic over priced bar food, nothing worth noting. Less than ten taps, beers not much to choose from. You would do much better at Game Time, not too far away

I’ve lived near here for several months and have avoided Take 5 solely on Unilocal reviews. Wanted to watch the Bengals game and options were limited so we gave it a shot. We had a great attentive server (Lindsey), great drink specials and decent bar food. Not sure if all the bad reviews were with a previous owner/​manager or what, but we will definitely be back to check out more of the menu. Really reasonable prices and 50 cent wings on Sun/​Mon!

Nothing worse than lazy workers and business owners. went here to have a drink and eat with a friend. it took about 5 mins to be seated and then another 15mins before the waitress came to the table. she tells us she would get us water and come back to take our orders. after about a 10 min wait. we just got up and left. Will never return.

Terrible beer selection, slow service, don’t waste your time or money. I REALLY want to say something nice or find a reason to like this place, unfortunately I could not.

I thought I would give Take 5 another shot! (Last time was horrible) Big mistake because the food wasn’t good, service was horrible and be sure to check your bill… we were charged for things twice! Never will go back to this place and don’t recommend it to anyone!!!

I vowed never to return to this place due to poor service and quality of food consistently. Due to circumstances and proximity of 4 families the decision was to go there.
We arrive and are not greeted and had to go find our own table. Upon securing a waitress we disclosed we had more families coming and if they could accommodate. We then moved after about 15 minutes
We placed our drink orders. Keep in mind with 4 families this was a total of 13 beverages. I ordered a rum n coke. After about 15 more minutes I was convinced my drink would not come as others slowly arrived. I went to the bar (which is where they were being ordered anyhow) and got my own. When the waitress returned I notified her of the discrepancy with no means of a resolution
We ordered apps and figured with bad experience in the past we should order our meal at the same time.
During our wait we decide to order more drinks. My buddy was drinking (longhammer) based on not getting my rum n come I decided to switch gears. When the waitress returns she brings one tall glass with ¾’s full and says they are out of longhammer now. My buddy gets his but i am left with nothing shockingly. So I sit there and think what are the chances but try and laugh it off. I order a bud light to be safe
Another 40 minutes pass and the entrees arrive before the apps as we figured. I ordered the grouper sandwich on a white bun, lettuce and tomatoe. What I got was a plan piece of grouper under cooked. My side was broccoli as I thought that was simple. I receive half hot pieces and half still frozen to my dismay. At this point it was becoming comical and again assured me why I will never set foot in that place
I won’t even begin to tell you the other problems but only disclosing my own. They truly do not value customer service nor their patrons brave enough to have a meal.

This place is terrible period. Bad service, bad food, bad everything. Ordered nachos they were just the worst. Order of potato skins were cooked like they went thru a deep fryer twice. The one beer I ordered (Guinness) they ran out of after I drank ONE! Apps came out after entrees — it was a disaster. If you have a choice the choose anywhere else. Let’s be clear too — the place was no crowded. No chance I’ll be back — Ever.

This is a nice place to go with a large group of wild kids, or to go and watch the game with some friends. The service is extremely slow is my main complaint. Every time I am in there I feel like it takes forever and a day to get in and out. The atmosphere is laid back and casual, and as stated before perfect for a game. Its often times packed on weekends or during popular games. The food is alright, nothing to get excited over or make a special trip over… I feel like its only in business due to its location and lack of a closer sports bar nearby.

Service was terrible! We went on wine down wed. $ 2 off any glass of wine, waitress had no idea what wines they had or beers were on tap. Wife’s wine was flat and sour like the bottle had been sitting there opened for a long time. All the food came out burnt and cold (seems like an oxymoron). Wo t be back again

The two stars=fair prices and the burger. Simply put, the quality of the burger relative to my location is worth the money. Because of this, I frequent this bar and grill with friends, and sometimes alone. I would possibly give this establishment three stars, perhaps for cleanliness, if it wasn’t for the service. Service, and service alone, bring this review down. Please note the meaning of service, not people. The employees are nice and talkative, yet somehow lack the competence to be a server. First, I find myself there for over an hour every single time. To make it worse, they always seem to have plenty of staff to suffice for the amount of customers there. Honestly, a friend and I have brought the idea up to go there but remember how long it always takes. Some of them don’t write down the order (s) and make small mistakes, nothing to bitch about once, but it wouldn’t be in this review if that was the case. This can also result in the final bill being wrong or not separated properly. It could very well be a four star business if it were to strengthen in this area. I cannot do that when it has come to turning down a delicious affordable burger that’s less than 2 minutes from my house.

Last evening my wife and I helped throw a surprise party for a friend of ours and another 50 of her friends. We mainly picked Take 5 because it was convenient and it was priced right, though by the nights everyone that attended was saying how happy they were with whole experience.
To give everyone proper credit, my wife and friend’s husband worked with the manager Linda who was very friendly and accommodating in planning the food and room arrangements. If you haven’t been there before, the bar/​restaurant has 2 rooms, with one usually not being used except for parties such as ours.
Next there was Heather and Laura, the bar tender and server. Laura did a terrific job managing the group and drink orders. I don’t think she ever stopped moving and was always patient with us. I’m surprised they didn’t have two servers, but then again Laura did fine by herself.
Lastly was the food trays and room. We had ordered 4 trays and a few extra appetizers. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced with a good portion size. The whole place was clean and orderly. We especially appreciated being able to get there early to decorate the room.
Overall, everyone was happy with the venue. I was told the restaurant was under new ownership, so if you were there in the past and didn’t like it, give another try. This wasn’t my first time there, but was the first time working with the staff and it was my first time with new ownership. We’ll definitely be back.
