Love, love, love! Lot’s of fair trade items to choose from. Something for everyone, including unique toys for the kiddo’s. I will be doing quite a bit of my holiday shopping at Tantrum this year.

As a native Portlander (Oregon, that is), this store brings back fond memories of similar organic and earth-​friendly stores on Belmont and Hawthorne Avenues in my home town — something I hardly see done as well. Keep up the good work! And for me, the non-​intrusive but available customer service hit the nail on the head.

I love Northside for the complete randomness of some of the stores.
Tantrum is a mix of everything — clothes, supplies for your desk, things for your pet or child, decorations for your home and more. It has a sort-​of Buddhism spiritual feel to the place, but there are a bunch of items that are chic hipster friendly and fun.
It’s a good spot to search for a present for a friend, especially one you don’t know what to buy them. This place is full of great ideas, that’s for sure.
The staff are friendly but not overly so. I wasn’t greeted when walking in and they only started chatting with me when I went over to them. In a store like this, where there is so much and it’s hard to figure out where to start, customer service might be helpful. But ah well.
They seem to always be getting in new merchandise so it’s worth checking out from time to time.

A very cool little store. It’s like a less flashy younger sister of Ludlow’s Toku Baru. It has a lot of things for children, but a good mix of things for adults as well, including notebooks, witty office supplies, pet products, clothing, etc. It’s a great addition to the Northside strip and I can’t wait to see what they do with it.
