If it has coconut tequila I’m a fan! This bar is local and priced fairly! I enjoy the pool table and my drink. The juke box they have has come a long way as far as variety goes. I miss the Jell-O shots they used to have, but I won’t complain since the have my select choice tequila. If you’re ever in the area and want a lil drink or to shoot some pool this would be a great spot to visit! It’s not over crowded and you can enjoy yourself without tons of men hounding you for your attention… And that’s enough to keep me coming back!

Several words always jump to mind when I think about The Patch: ONE– CLEAN… This place is clean. Meticulously clean. No sticky bits on the floor or the bar. The bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a little neighborhood bar. The bar always smells clean. I spent a long time working bars and I’d be proud to be on the staff here. TWO– FRIENDLY… The staff and the regulars are always welcoming. I am not a regular here but I do hit it a couple times a year and I’ve never had that«locals only» feel you get some places. The bartenders give great service to everyone, not just the people that are there four or five times a week. This should be a destination bar. Even if it’s not close or convenient, hit this place up some night to watch a game or play pool. It has an old timey feel and is immediately comfortable. If you are within a couple miles you MUST put this place into your regular rotation!

Perfect as a peach! My new, low-cost unassuming dive bar lies here. Admittedly, I originally thought the Bramble Patch might be closed by its exterior. Tsk, tsp: It’s a wonderland inside. Consider the possibilities of $ 3 Yuenglings, dim lighting, and an old-timey jukebox. These three factors indubitably amount to a fun, timeless night. Walkable from almost anywhere in Mariemont, I’ll venture to the Bramble Patch for a getaway from the everyday. It helps that there are no windows – time surely passes by if you don’t know if the sun is up or down :) The clientele doesn’t give two… er…ducks who blesses their presence in the Bramble Patch. Consider this the«one size fits all» bar. No judgment, no sneers, no woo girls. Come and get your stiff drink. Enjoy the game. Indulge in banter. No food or anything here, so bring in your grub or eat beforehand. See you soon, Bramble Patch!

Not be local to this area I won’t get here often, but I really wish I could. Its like they have transplanted all the things I love about West Side dive bars and transplanted them to the East Side. One more reason for a 40 minute drive! Drinks are strong, strong and cheap! The bartender was incredibly friendly and very patient when my friend took FOREVER deciding what he wanted to drink. We had 3 drinks and diet coke and our total bill was $ 12. Nice! The place is dark and old like all the best dive bars are, but seems very clean. And ladies… the restrooms have been recently remodeled and are always clean. I wouldn’t drive across town just to go to this bar because it has about 10 doppelgangers near my house(on the west side), but I would definitely become a regular when I am in the area.

Loved this bar the moment I saw it from the street. Actually from the moment I heard what it was called. The place looks pretty sketch from the outside. The only windows are glass block and the two square ones that are on the security doors, making this place look very strip club or speakeasy-esque. Upon entering you will find one of the better dive bars in town. It smells like my parents’ basement even with the ceiling fans on full blast. It is nice and cool in here. The crowd is friendly and easygoing. No one is going to stare you down for not being one of «them». Drinks are cheap. Hudy Amber on draft was a nice selection. There are TVs for watching sports. The bar is generally loud, but you can still hold a conversation with the people next to you. This is a very comfortable hangout that the more pretentious have yet to stumble across, and it’s got a great name!

A very simple, no-frills neighborhood bar with a great staff behind the bar. Also the only bar I’ve ever been in before noon.(They keep very flexible hours for the drinking crowd. Not that I’m a drunk or anything… er.) You may not find your obscure craft beers here, but you will find a reasonably priced cold beverage.

you want to pay your bar tab in change? you want to watch football? you want to walk in to a bar with a crock pot? would you like to meet papa smurf? You can do all these things at the Bramble Patch, home to the NICEST bathrooms a dive bar will ever have. Get a local pitcher for the cost of a craft beer anywhere else in town.

Great little dive bar in Madisonville. Good beer prices. Great place to watch Sunday football. Just get there early to find a seat before the game.
