My daughter had her wedding here on October 25, 2014. We had a perfect day! There were 120 guests which is about right for the venue. The cocktail party was downstairs and on the back patio which worked out great. Dinner was served upstairs. The reception continued after dinner downstairs but those who preferred could remain upstairs. The large balcony area is great for viewing the festivities below. The elevator was great for the elderly and handicapped. We used Funky’s catering and would highly recommend them as well. The ceremony was in St. Clare Chapel(also on the grounds).

Enjoyed the barn as part of a friend’s wedding reception. The accommodations were fine, but the floor plan forced the reception to be a little bit disjointed. The band had to set up downstairs by the dance floor. The bar, drinks, and gift table were also situated on the lower level. The guests were located upstairs. A few of the tables were in a different room than the wedding party which is not ideal since those tables could not see the wedding party. The food was also served in a different room. I actually kind of liked being able to lean on the railing upstairs while gazing down on the band and the dance floor. So, I can’t say I really had a problem with the setup but I could see where not everyone would choose this option. There was also a nice patio out back that many enjoyed. It was a nice night, it was a little quiter and easier to chat with people than it would have been if we had been confined indoors. The place was nice, the service was fine, but I was a little disappointed that because of the cleanup process many of the wedding party could not go out after the reception.

this is a great venue for anything. it happened to be a music venue when i was there. and it was beautiful — the acoustics were great and the audience listened. those responsible at the barn for putting on events are hospitable, professional and kind. i highly recommend you get a hold of these folks for your next conference, reception, party or whatever. long live the barn!
