Great sushi! The Bengal Roll is amazing! Nice beer/wine selection. Service isn’t the best. Cloud 9 still has the better sushi.

Red curry can’t be beat. Tuna appetizer is to die for! Yum. Now I have my 14 year old wanting to come here for dinner! Who would have thought.

Solid Thai not the best in the city but consistent. Convenient for Andersonians. Nice folks.

This is one of our favorite place for Thai food. Their menu has gotten smaller over the years. The food has always been what has brought us back. They used to have one if the best burgers in town, however was one of the items that had fallen from the menu.

The food was good… a little slow on service and they brought our food out at seperate times. My biggest issue is with the way I feel today. Swollen and puffy. Probably wont go back as they must use too much sodium.

As far as sushi in the area goes, Foreign Exchange is pretty good. The standouts of the evening were the rolls. We ended up having the dragon roll and the volcano roll. The dragon roll was good, but the volcano roll ended up being the crowd-pleaser. Beyond that we got the pot stickers. The flavor was good, but they had been under steamed, so by the time we got them they were a bit cold. The sauce for the pot stickers was amazing! We also both got sushi, which was good, but not great. Overall, this place probably gets a 3.5 in my book. I would like to come back and try the stir fry, it smelled amazing when we walked in!

The sushi at FX is fresh, unique, and delicious. I have not found better sushi in Cincinnati. While I love most dishes on the menu, my favorites are: Crispy Pad Thai, Pad Thai, Green Beans with Beef Stir Fry, Red Curry, Massaman Curry, and the list goes on!

Excellent food, slightly slow service but friendly. Great Thai food and tasted very authentic. Next time we’ll try the sushi.

It was absolutely terrific! We ordered three entrees: Thai Spicy, Curry Chicken and Pad Thai. Each dish was was fresh, appropriate spice level, generous portion size — a real gem in the heart of Anderson Township. I have dined at many other Thai restaurants around town and can say with certainty that Foreign Exchange is among the TOP! Loved it and will go back!!!

This is by far, my second favorite Thai place in the city. I know Hyde Park is full of them, but this one beats all but one(Bangkok Bistro, if you’re interested). I have been here tons of times, and without fail, everything I have had is excellent. Appetizers I love are the crab cheese puffs, shrimp dragon, and finger beef. Entrees are Pad Thai and Spicy Thai Noodles(BECAREFUL with those… whatever spicy level you would normally order, subtract a couple). Order it with a Kirin, and you won’t regret it :)

A lot of people say hit or miss with this place, I have been here 3 – 5 times, for both lunch and dinner, and a good experience every time. The menu is large and offers more variety than most thai places I’ve been to, offering dishes crossing over into chinese and american as well. portions are generous, service is good, and when you say you want it spicy HOLYCOW they will do it for you here. Which I find to be very rare in and around the cinci area. Prices are average to slightly pricy for similar restaurants but nothing too outrageous. I always go home with leftovers. I’d rate it 3.5 if I could but 3 it is. Sometimes when they get busy you could be waiting a long time for your meal. I’ll definitely still go back but it isn’t one of my favorites or anything.

The food/service is hit or miss and just hope you don’t have a miss. The owner was serving our food one evening and one appetizer was forgotten and my entrée never came. I totally understand things happen and restaurants are not always perfect, but here is the kicker: I asked several times and was told each time that my entrée is almost ready. While the two other people at our table were almost done with their meals, the owner was no where to be found. I explained the situation to another server and she found the owner after a short time. When he came to our table, I explained how ridiculous the situation was. Here is what floored me: His response was, «there is nothing I can do to fix this or change the situation, your mind is made up and I cannot change that». Then he walked away. My wife and close friends had to pick their jaws up. The experience was just surreal. We paid our bill and left. I have had bad experiences at restaurants and usually people do what they can to make things right. Certainly a manager of an establishment would see to it that the situation is rectified. To have an owner simply not care is reprehensible.

Try the Hamouk. The What? OK, I’m not really sure myself, but if you are looking for something like you’ve never had before, this is it. It’s steamed fish in a curry with other unidentifiable things in it, and it’s delicious. The presentation is nice, too. It’s served in two small round ramekins with your choice of rice. I’ve never seen it anywhere else, and that makes it even cooler. If adventurous eating isn’t your thing, the sushi is quite good, though if your whole party were on a sushi only quest this is not where I’d go, the Japanese restaurants in KY are still a step above. The Thai selections are good, you won’t be disappointed if you’re trying to satisfy that noodle in brown sauce craving. If you like spicy, when they ask the standard 1 – 10 question, answer something higher than 10. I said 10 and in my asbestos-mouthed opinion, it was a 3 at best. Plus, everyone who eats a meal higher than 10 gets their picture on the wall of fire– woo hoo!

Was a bit disappointed in this considering the reviews. The beef in the Ginger beef was mediocre quality, the sushi was decent, and service was good.

The restaurant has a sizable menu so you will find almost anything that you crave. I am partial to the Crispy Pad Thai myself. The sushi is also quite good and has the typical selection you will find in Cincinnati. The wait staff is quite nice and service is usually expedient. I drink lots of water and they come and fill it every time it gets low and not when it’s out. Overall, a very good Thai restaurant.

I had been here a few years ago and I was severely disappointed. At the time I was not using Unilocal so there is no review to update, but consider this an updated review that was previously 2 stars. A couple of friends of mine convinced me to give it another try and I was completely blown away with how much better it was. I got the garlic pepper chicken at an 8⁄10 heat level. I’m by no means an expert on thai food, but what I do know is that I’ve been craving Foreign Exchange since then and can’t wait to go back. Strip mall Thai food FTW!

Ok — Thai and Sushi in a strip mall in Anderson Township — YUCK, right? Well, I am glad to say that I really like this place! I visit there when I am in town visiting my family in A-Town. And thank goodness they are open. It is soooo hard to find a good place to eat on Beechmont Ave that is not fast food or a chain. I get the Thai Basil Leaves with Veggies — and they make it spicy! Check it out!
