I haven’t been back here in at least ten years, and it’s still just like I remember it! So glad this place got bought and re-opened after the Danbarry closed. It’s wonderful to see small business thrive, despite the mall floundering around it. You really can’t beat these ticket prices. $ 3.00 general admission, except on Tuesdays when it’s $ 1.75. Concessions are also a lot cheaper than at first-run houses, and they have several good combo deals. We actually had to wait in line when we went this afternoon, but I’m not complaining. I’m just glad there were other people there! And it’s Christmas Eve Eve, so I’m sure no one wanted to work today, and I don’t blame them. Is this theater the cleanest? No. Is it fancy in any way? No. Are the sound and picture top quality? No. But you get what you pay for. You don’t come here to see Avatar, or for midnight releases. You come here for those«I’ll wait till it’s on Netflix» flicks, or to catch up on all the contenders during awards season. You come here for the nostalgia, because it’s decorated exactly the same as when you were a kid. And, most importantly, you come here to support small businesses and to keep Cincinnati Mall open!
