Tire Discounters

I came in for an oil change and to get my tires rotated. I left my car there and they told me they would call me when it was finished. I decided to go to Kohl’s nearby and look around while I waited. A gentleman called me and told me there were some other things that needed fixing on my car. I told him that I didn’t want to fix them at the moment and to just do the oil change and rotate the tires. He said that was fine and that he’d call me when my car was finished. I walked around for another hour and a half and never received another call from him. I finally decided to check on my car and it was sitting there ready to go, but the guy never called me back. I have no clue how long it had been sitting there. I wish he would have called me back so I could have gone home faster.

Love this place! Great customer service from Jacob, Chase and David. Fixed my tractor tire at no charge, will definitely be back.

Friendliest, nicest people work at this location, especially the lady with glasses at the counter (I always appreciate when there are female employees at anything automotive repair-​related). I will DEFINITELY come back to this location when I need tires! (Which, unfortunately, isn’t too far down the road with winter coming). I noticed my two front tires were low, so I took it to a gas station to try finagling some air into them. The driver’s side tire would not inflate, so I requested help from the gas station attendant. He also unsuccessfully tried, and opined that he thought my tire was too flat to put air in and I would probably just have to get a new one. After panicking and calling my husband, he suggested I carefully drive (the tire wasn’t completely flat) to the nearest tire service station and have it looked at.
My first stop was at Michelin and they said they couldn’t look at it, but to leave it with them for «a couple of hours.» I think I’d literally rather have a root canal then sit around at an automotive station. I decided to take my little car to the Tire Discounters that was 0.5 miles away. The lady at TD was SO nice, she had a tech immediately look at my tires. The tech filled all of my tires, inspected them for any punctures/​foreign objects, checked the pressure and replaced all of the caps. He also explained that when the weather gets cooler, tires always lose air (yeah, yeah, I know, I’m completely dumb when it comes to anything involving cars). This was all done within 10 minutes, and COMPLETELY FREE. I tried to pay inside, and the staff member said that such services were always free at any Tire Discounters.
Also, if you check in on your Unilocal app, you get a $ 5 off coupon — plus it looks like TD takes appointments Thank heavens, for when I will need my tires replaced this winter. Score! I will definitely return to this TD location after having such a quick and positive experience here!

I had a flat tire and took my car to TD assuming I would need a new tire. This tire had been one of those that slowly lose air over time, so I expected the worst.
After taking my car in and agreeing on tires (my choice ended up being more expensive and not the right tire — TD told me which one was rated for my vehicle and it was less expensive!), they took the car back and I watched the clean the rotors, take of the tire, etc.
About 10 minutes went by and the mechanic came out and told the person behind the desk that my tire simply had a nail in it and could be repaired rather than replaced. «Ok», I thought, this is good but I’ll get the up-​sell. Not so! They simply offered to repair the tire, which I assumed would cost less.
In another 10 minutes they mechanic came out, handed me my keys and said, «you’re all set». I asked the person behind the counter how much I owed them and they said, «nothing, just come back when you are ready to buy a tire». Seriously, how often does that happen??? 20+ minutes of labor, all the clean-​up work on my wheels, and it cost nothing??? Amazing, simply amazing!
Tire Discounters is awesome! I highly recommend visiting them and buying tires. I know I will!
