Tire Discounters

I had a recall notice for Nissan recently and had my oil changed while I was at the dealer. The dealer indicated I needed new brakes and tires. I didn’t have the time to take care of that (and assumed it would be more expensive) so I asked for a quote from them.
Then I called around and was happy to find one of the closest locations to me was a Tire Discounters that also had the best price and tires they could get for me that day (I was surprised that it was even cheaper than the AAA store with my AAA discount). The tires were much better quality than dealer quoted me and a at a better price. When I went into the store (which was spotless and comfortable) they already had notes from my call and the order was typed up and ready to go. The salesperson, Josh, apologized they didn’t have the tire on display for me to see, I said that is fine as I had read the reviews, but he insisted I wait a second and went back to pull one out of inventory to make sure I knew what I was buying. Score one bonus point for customer service and transparency. I signed the paperwork and told them that the dealer mentioned I needed brakes, he said he would look into that, finally I mentioned I might need wiper blades changed (I know, easy to do on my own, but figured I would see what the price was).
A few hours later I got a phone call that the car was ready and that they checked my brakes and said they didn’t need changed right away and suggested that I check back in a few months. They saved me some money there when they could have easily just agreed with the dealer and sold me new brakes and installation! They then told me my wiper blades were just dirty and they cleaned them and I didn’t need new ones. More money saved.
Furthermore, at checkout they told me about a $ 70 rebate for the tires they made sure they had printed and ready for me (that I must have not even realized I was getting).
I will be going back to this location for more car services than just tires including oil changes. I always like finding car service that is more efficient and cheaper than the dealer.

They are very personable and focus on customer service, because they really don’t know what they are doing with your car. Hidden charges abound, confusion about what is wrong with your car, I’m not taking my car to this location anymore. Even though the building is beautiful, the mechanics aren’t as knowledgeable about ones at other locations I’ve been to, and I feel like they keep ripping me off. Not coming back anymore, you should go to another location as well!

Nothing but positive things to say about this location. They helped correct/​fix an error made by another tire installer and even «threw me a bone» for some extra service when they did not have to do so. Would recommend you go see these guys.

The BEST in customer service! I stopped by less than an hour before they closed to have a brake light replaced and they were able to squeeze me in. Not only that, but within 15 – 20 mins of being there, one of the technicians came around to everyone in the waiting room to give them an update on the status of their vehicle. This team was friendly and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service!

These guys were fantastic. Super helpful, even repaired a tire for me at no charge! I will continue to purchase tires from them whenever I need new ones! I just lost a tire yesterday to a pothole so let’s see how the replacement process goes today.

Well, got ripped off. And not just an upset customer here. I am very knowledgable about cars and have always done my own work until lately when time has restricted me from doing so. I went and saw Larry the manager and decided to buy tires from him instead of online (cost me $ 200 more) in order to support local business. Local businesses are supposed to take care of you. Had my tires installed (I was also told I would have a $ 70 mail in rebate which I do not because the time frame was off). Total bill was over $ 1,300. Thats ok, I got nice tires and the free alignment was nice.
Well, I brought my car back, a 2013 Audi S4 to have a set of lowering springs installed. The springs only cost me $ 230. A rate was never discussed as everywhere online said it would be around $ 500. Install time EVERYWHERE says 5– 5.5 hours, Audi, and online on several discussion forums. Tire discounters rate is $ 90 an hour. I dropped my car off at 11am, and left at 1:30 pm and the car still hadn’t been pulled in the bay. I get a call at 7pm that says its done and that the total charge is $ 800, and this was a discount. Discount?! They claimed it was 10.5 hours work and they knocked it down to 8.5 hours. How that is true when they pulled it in after 1:30 and it was done at 7pm is beyond me. Seems line 5.5 hours of work to me… exactly what was stated online.
I voiced this concern to which the manager told me I’m sorry, the book calls for 10.5 hours. Completely ignoring the fact that it only took them 5.5. They referenced a guide online (that you can only access with a purchased subscription and log in) so I was unable to see this. Audi quoted me $ 620 for this replacement but I decided to go with Tire Discounters because I paid extra for the one year for free alignments when I purchased my tires. I wanted an alignment when I lowered the car.
All in all, they were nice however I feel they took advantage of me because of the car «expensive» car I drove. I own several businesses myself and this is NOT how I would conduct business. If i was quoted this price to begin with I would have brought it somewhere else. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. A shame because they’re down the road and I buy 5 sets of tires a year on my two other cars from all the track time they see.
