Traction

Traction is a creative bubble of a design studio. Located in the heart of Downtown, you’ll find porch swings, AstroTurf, bicycles, and Yogi the Puppy greeting you in the main lobby. What a wonderful environment to work in as a designer.
These folks are fun. They work hard at what they do and they have a good time while doing it. While visiting Traction during Design Week, I learned a lot about this grassroots start up and enjoyed meeting Tony, the owner. He oozed passion with every breath and everyone in the room could see his excitement about his work. Armed with a small team, Traction works with both Fortune 500 companies and small family businesses.
In fact, even during their most challenging days in the beginning, Traction always had a non-​profit project under their wing… or boot. This company genuinely loves giving back to the community. As Tony said, «We first give the client what they want, then we make sure they have what they need.»
Now that’s a stellar business mantra.
