The best breakfast sandwich that I’ve ever had. Quality ingredients and very reasonably priced. World class biscuits. They have made Rivertown Brewery their regular Sunday gig and have developed quite a following.

My husband and I love to scout out Wake and Bake’s location and get some breakfast on the go! The food is delicious and tastes homemade… We’ve enjoyed the goetta breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, and savored every morsel of the chocolate-covered bacon! The people couldn’t be nicer and more attentive! If you like their page on Facebook, a schedule/location list is posted each week! This is one of my favorite food trucks!

So I was about to go around the corner from my office to grab breakfast from the nearby deli. The gal at my building’s reception desk asked if I needed breakfast. She then points out the windows to the alley across the street. What’s this I see? A food truck, selling breakfast treats? Yes, please! I head over and have a look at the menu. A short, but hearty list of items are available. Two breakfast bisquit sandwiches, bisquits and gravy, and a fruit and yogurt parfait. I placed my order for The Ohioan, which includes loacal sausage, egg and cheese on a buttermilk bisquit. The young lady taking my order asked if I minded waiting a few minutes, as they had a fresh batch of bisquits in the oven. Of course I don’t mind! Several of us were patiently waiting for our orders, when one of the owners came out with samples of their chocolate-covered bacon. I’ll be enjoying that later. But back to my sandwich. A real egg, American cheese, fluffy bisquit, all very fresh and delicious. And large! They’re on Facebook( ), Twitter and Instagram. For downtown workers, I see from their Twitter feed that they make stops at Fountain Square fairly often. Check them out!
